What a refreshingly good review. Great video, great channel and great car. Tempted to sell the bike and get one of these but all the used ones seem so expensive.

Nice, you both kept me entertained whilst waiting for a flight in Schiphol. Actually missed my flight but can only blame the alcohol for that.😂 Came for the car as I've just ordered an atom, great adventure, good luck guy's.👌

Could you make side panels from stiff transparant material that is heat-molded around the frame? Perhaps it would be in one piece with the windshield then... Maybe some rubber spacers to allow for the frame flexing a bit.

I will be the negative guy here. The platform looks great and power is more than enough. Two problems I see, suspension is not that great or comfortable for trail and bumpy terrain. Second, price is way to much (92k). Can Am Maveric X3 Turbo RR is 25k with 195hp, jsut add 4k to 8k and you can have same power and great suspension.

I don't think they're abandoned. I saw them too this year and they look fine. Do agree it's weird that they're just sitting there

I want to drive this here in South Africa. Half of the roads are gravel and mountain roads. We also have every climate imaginable. Tropical, desert, semi-desert, bushfield, forest, jungle, mountainous, snow, sand, dirt, mud, grass, tar. You name it! Just imagine the adventurous possibilities with this! My permanent residence is also on a farm, so I'm one turn away from miles and miles of open road. It is hot here though, especially in summer, but location changes climate so thoroughly, you just drive to where it feels right. It'll be, as said; "Pure, unadulterated fun." But I'm still a student so for now my quadbike suffices.

Sounds like a great place for the Nomad! ❤️

@@MudNomad I think it's perfect, everything is close enough so that touring requires minimum luggage. If you are interested, check out the semi-deserts and sand deserts of the Kalahari. It's situated between North Cape and Namibia. And if you're looking for flats and hills, search for our other Province, Free State.

hey guys. just discovered your channel and it is the one thing getting me through the quarantine right now. question though: how did you get your bright white (LED?) light on those two whip-like antennas that you use at night?
@MudNomad4 жыл бұрын
Hey Adam, I'm glad to be of help. 😉 The whips are an option from Ariel. You would normally use them to be visible in the dunes after dark when approached from the side, but even if you never go to the dunes - they just look very cool IMO
@adamdavies26704 жыл бұрын
@@MudNomad oh cool. it looks just great, even just sitting in the parking lot. and hey, check this out: in Leno's piece on the nomad it looks like Ariel has adopted your spare tire placement. they owe you royalties! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nJhjpbNirZjRmIE.html

Where did you go on the west coast of Vancouver Island? The road to Tofino is paved and so is the road to Port Renfrew.

No idea :) It was a long time ago. But we'll be definitely back as soon as the borders reopen!
@stevenbridge4 жыл бұрын
@@MudNomad You probably took a left at Port Alberni instead of going right. The right takes you to Ucluelet and Tofino, where the one to the left takes you to Bamfield. That road is gravel all the way and the road to Ucluelet and Tofino is paved. Let me know the next time you go to Bamfield, a buddy of mine owns a lodge there :).

Fleet cars are specially configured. But even if you bought one for yourself in Canada it would come with all season tires.
