Most of the music here is vastly inferior to their NES counterparts, with one glorious exception: Top Man. This one is fucking great.

Ich muss dir auch dafür danken. Wie oft habe ich dieses Intro gesehen? Ich weiß es nicht. Ich war nie gut in diesen Spiel, aber geliebt habe ich dennoch so sehr.

this game was made as a way to get kids familiar with RPG elements not common to the school yards up until this point.. because they knew they would drop 6 and Trigger and it really catapulted the franchise... to yhen be immediately dropped on its azz with 7 which was such a complete failure as a fantasy, they had to keep fuggin it up with further expansions and explanations, and really, cashing in on the design of a friggin meat cleaver in the hands of a skinny, pipe-cleaner-armed, boring azz hero. cloud is fuggin boring. no one cares what he has to say or do. the babes in that game should have wandered off into the folds of the turks.. hell, the game should have been, you are in the turks, destroy the state from within. sephiroth no bigger in the plot than say dalton from trigger! but no, we got shafted from the attention xenogears should have developed, which was the spiritual successor of the franchise, and arguably the best 2/3 finished game ever made thanks mystic quest, you helped create a huge spin off of purists who took the late 90's bait

Capital Theme sounds like something they would be playing in Metropolis every day.

I unfortunately grew up in a high crime trash city. I remember hearing the title theme of this game in my youth and I would say "that's the perfect city". Oddly I got the same vibes of the Title Screen of this game from Lost in Translation, when Bill Murray first wakes up in the car and looks at Japan's city scape.

This is a top contender for my favorite game boy game. It's competing with the likes of Pokemon Red, and Mortal Kombat II.

I've played a lot of Mega Man games in fact I played all of them and this is one of the hardest ever. Is total BS for someone who's never played it before but it's part of the course when it comes to Mega Man levels.
I remember playing this game in the late 90s with my grandmother. She was a savage!! She beat all the hard bosses I couldn't get passed. RIP grandma Lola! ❤️ I love and miss you so much!!!!

When I think about Megaman 4, the first thing that always comes to mind is that intro to the Toadman theme. It's so different than anything we heard in the previous games, and I really like it!

08:17 "Sad Fireside Tale" is a variation of William Byrd's "Pavane for the Earl of Salisburry". But the name is also a reference to the first episode of "A Bard's Tale" in 1985 (on DOS I think). The reference is quite clear since William Byrd's song is also used, in a sped up version named "The Wayland Watch" in A Bard's Tale ! :D
