I have an alpaca blanket, and I sleep cozy at night. The apartment has a gas stove and hot water.

In June 2024, there are an estimated 50,000 immigrants from Venezuela, Nicaragua, Haiti, and Cuba. The City is spending millions of dollars giving them shelter, food, transportation, and health care. We Americans are paying to support these immigrants with taxes and an aggressive ticket-permit system from the City of Chicago to raise funds, limiting our capacity to save money. These newcomers potentially become criminals when the City's resources are depleted.

I don't buy bread anymore it has gone up in price so I make my own. If you don't know how to cook get a good cook book and teach your self to cook. Get a gardening book and teach your self to grow food. You can even ask a older person to help you I am 86 if someone ask me how to do things I would be glad to help them out and I am sure anyone else would be happy to help you . 1) we don’t have climate change we have weather modification- maybe same result but the cause is an important distinction to get right. They are doing this, we aren’t. .2) Without carbon dioxide there are no plants - no plants no oxygen for other life forms. Farmers spraying stronger and more pesticides? NO! We are NOT. The government (I farmed in CA) keeps making it more difficult to fight pests every year, by restricting specific pesticides, limiting hours/humidity/temperatures which they can be sprayed in, and shooting prices through the roof, which cuts into our already meager profits. Plus we get new pests imported by many methods into our farms, and our specialized controls don't touch them, so we need to find different ones, and our options are increasingly limited. Farmers aren't wasting pesticides, nor fertilizers. Those things are expensive. We are trying to provide the most food for the least cost, and still a lot of years we lose money. We have twice had so much damage from birds, bugs, water shortage, and squirrels that we paid for all the upkeep, but the damage was so severe that we didn't want to add the trucking and processing fees, so we just hired shakers to shake the trees and destroyed the fallen nuts, so we wouldn't get more pests.

We have beehive rounds aplenty.

I live in farm country with mostly one political side. If they want to lash out at someone or attack their 'perceived enemies' they'll have to travel a good distance from here. I'm 63 and have stayed out of politics my whole life because my trust and devotion is to God, not a man or a party. People have lost their minds these days and have had their conscience seared with a hot iron, and are acting like a bunch of psychopaths with little to no conscience at all. They talk about hanging people and firing squads...and now see human beings as nothing more than a pile of trash to be taken out and burned. An unhealthy conscience with a leader that loves vengeance and violence is a deadly combination. But they think that they're on the side of good. One day they're going to have a rude awakening.

FYI I bought a Patriot sidekick in 2022 because of budget. It did not come with instructions or recommendations. I needed it this year to only learn it was a dud.
