The previous owner had recapped it to try to fix the issue before I got my hands on it, it was a 1 minute video so I didn’t go in to too much detail, good eye 😀

As long as the pos/neg lines up it doesn’t matter what the orientation is hope that helps!

T2 does keep all time high scores, only the daily high is reset.

@@realultimategaming weird as mine doesn’t seem to be doing that. Each time I turn it off all the scores are reset on both daily and all time. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@DW3010 have you checked the game adjustment settings? There is one that resets your high score maybe check if that one isn’t on

@@bsmith8166 actually the proper IUPAC name is propan-2-ol, all other names are non-standard. You’ll probably see both names used everywhere for marketing reasons, ie isopropyl alcohol reminds people it’s also rubbing alcohol which is typically pre mixed with water (maybe 70% to 30% water), while isopropanol might be 99%.

the fake one looks more like a saturated version of the box art, just gotta remember that Charizard is orange and not red :)

There are several generation of fakes, huge market in Asia that made repro carts even ones from 80's and 90's. More modern ones don't even use batteries but use solid state to save, but they aren't that good and won't last very long.

It does, but the battery powers the memory when the game is off. This is not the case anymore since the end of the gba era.

@@NathanWubsyeah Gen 2 batteries run dry much sooner than Gen 1 because of the timer system. Even in Gen 3 they use solid state and don’t need batteries to save, but ruby/sapphire/emerald uses a timing system as well and uses a battery just for running the clock

Yeah it’s used to save and run the timer system, so it’s always ticking down. Gen 2 only lasts a few years because of this.

The moisture it absorbs through the years really makes it sag, just need to reflatten it 😊

You can still find them around fairly cheap, really a niche collection market

Definitely, usually just worn contact points or just need a cleaning to get them working again

Next stage would be gluing parts back together and painting torn areas, but some collectors consider adding anything (glue, paint) messes with the original and actually loses value
