I have a full neck, so I use a small amount of Jergens firming tanner in dark, even tho I am fair to light skinned. It does seem to wear off evenly. No special prep.

Solution is a new tanner. I swear by Coco and Eve Sunny Honey Bali bronzing foam in medium. Best tanner hands down. No weird smell, not stinky, applies evenly and wears off evenly and so gradually. I wouldn’t switch to any other tanner.

I know this vid is old but I had to comment! I've been subscribed to you for many years, but slipped out of the habit of watching for a while. I just came across this video again and realized that I had forgotten that THIS video is what initially sparked our budgeting system! After watching this several years ago, we revamped our budget and began to really make headway in paying off all of our debt! Eventually I found YNAB- You Need A Budget, which is a "budget every dollar" system. It's essentially a version of what you all do. We've been debt free for years now thanks to you and Michael, and later YNAB. Thank you for sharing this, and all the fantastic advice you've shared over the years! :)

Just an FYI about one of the clothing pieces...I ordered the striped cardigan from Amazon. The sweater material was very nice, but the buttons were actually tarnished into an ugly orangish color. The replacement button that came with it was shiny gold like they should be. No reflection on you of course! Just wanted to mention it to shoppers.

Tinea Versicolor was what I thought of immediately. I got this on my back a few years ago, but it went away w the treatment my Derm gave me, and I cannot see it normally- apparently it's like a fungus that lives on our skin all the time, but then this can happen... My friend had it on her neck (In addition to her chest) and it looked like yours. BUT even though I cannot see mine anymore when I do not use tanner, I found that some self tanners will either 1. Make those patches dark, or 2. Make them white... but then it goes away when the self tanner fades. (Beauty by Earth does NOT discolor those spots for me, though, just to share) IF it would be Tinea, once your self tan fades, if you still see it, it's just an anti-fungal cream you use a couple times per day. I'd definitely make an appt. w/ your derm to get it checked out!

I’ve seen the neck unevenness on many people. I think that it’s just never going to work long term to dark self tan in such a flexible bendy area. Maybe spray tan for an event? I’m no expert but I’d light self tan the neck for an ombré effect, haha doesn’t that make it sound good? And dust bronzer when you want to go darker.

Quick tip on the Laura geller blushes. Tap on cheek or back of hand. Do NOT drag or swipe. It messes up the applicator. I learned the hard way. Fortunately they include and extra applicator in the box. I love mine

I love the L’Oréal bond shampoo line. Abbey Yung recommends using the bond treatment between shampooing and conditioning. That way it goes to work on clean hair with no buildup. Rinse out then condition. So much more convenient and I still notice all the same benefits.

I already knew how to find the description on “shorts,” but the supposed links that are there, are not clickable, which is very frustrating. You could have Tinea Versicolor causing the discolored patches. Very common in the summer, especially in hot humid climates. Your primary care physician can diagnose and give you a script. In the meantime, you can use a dandruff shampoo (eg Selsun Blue) to wash your neck in the shower.

Try the new charlotte tilbury tanning drops . They are excellent . I am light medium skin tone . I use three drops with moisturiser for a subtle glow, and when I use 5 drops I really tanned . It fades very softly and really naturally. I mix it with moisturiser at night best I’ve ever tried

I’m not a doctor and I don’t use sunless tanner, but is it possibly related to Hashimoto’s disease since your thyroid is in that region? If not, maybe it’s either sweat or bending of the neck rubs it off. I love the bag you designed!

My daughter's neck would do that, and she had a first grader at the school where she worked ask her, "Does it FEEL ugly?" We still laugh about it and ask each other that occasionally.

People can be so rude in criticizing others. Re: my honest opinion about your neck…it looks natural because skin tends to do that. But, I would just buy a dark color concealer ( as close as you can match it) and use that on the spots. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t use tanner, so that’s all I can offer. I’m light skinned, and don’t like to tan, so I don’t have much experience with tanners. I really enjoy your videos! You are so classy!
