Is there a minimum minimum monitor weight for the gas spring to work? Mine is a portable monitor at 750 grams, and I can't keep the arm down no matter what I do.

Yes, the minimum weight is 1kg to 2kg depending on the arm. if it's springing up with the strength turned all the way down, additional weight will be needed behind the monitor for the arm to function properly.

If the clamp isn't closing enough, it can be removed and reattached to the upper two mounting holes in the clamp brace.

Plug in a few cables and show that again 😉 It frees some space on a desk, but takes the space under it, so you have less room for your legs.

DO NOT BUY FOR DD WHEELS. DO BUY FOR GEAR BELT OLDER MODEL WHEELS WITH LESS POWER. With the monitor holder being bolted on the same rig. Each shake obviously results in the tv/monitor shaking. Keep this in mind.

can a monitor be too light for this stand? i tried mount my 27 inch msi monitor to the stand until i got my ultrawide. I tried to make it tilt down because the screen would not tilt downward and the little spring came out when i was trying to adjust it…

So glad to know i can remover the whole thing to clean it better. Someone stripped one of the screws, and ive tried everything to fix it myself. Walmart doesnt pay me enough to go through all this... not even sure WHO bought this machine. I do love it tho...❤❤ we use it to help raise money for Children's Miracle Network amd Hospitals.

Can you show assembly with he vesa adapter? I have a Samsung s39 series curved monitor but I need the Vesa adaptar. Because the vivo stand I bought was the VESA Stand, Classic, White STAND-V002OW so it's looks like I need the Adapter in order to fit but I didn't know which adapter to purchase. There are several different designs.

@@jessicamizhquiri6870 The S39C hasn't yet been officially tested, so isn't in the listed compatible monitors for the adapter. It should fit based on the info I've found for that monitor, but the MOUNT-UVM01 universal adapter will definitely work if there's any concern.

Are there any plans to update the assembly video for the V100EBY model? I just got it in today but the inner crossbar that is supposed to connect the other two legs has no holes in it, and it is unclear in the manual or videos on how to approach this

Since the mounts that emergency response like police use are quite expensive and often requires drilling, I decided to try this out. The laptop im using on it is only 3.4 lbs, so hopefully the sway or wobble won't be too bad. Mostly using it stationary to view my road facing camera on the laptop as a monitor and to make adjustments without uninstalling the camera from the mount. Looking forward to trying this out!

The included screws are threaded for use in wood and wood composite desks. The length is 3/4", and the thread diameter is 7/32".

Thank you for your video. Once the machine is wound up, sugar escapes between the hole and the cup. I have a gap between the two Is there a seal between the two? I didn't get the impression when I disassembled.

A bad pulley would slip on the shaft and not pull the belt up at all, or if the mount has a bad gear, it might try to lift a little before slipping back down with a grinding noise. If your mount has any of these problems, we can send replacement parts under warranty: vivo-us.com/pages/support

It's a "keyhole" design to make assembly easier. With all 4 screws partially inserted into the lower clamp bracket, the screw heads fit through the large holes in the clamp base and then all slide down into the smaller slots, where they can then be tightened.

What does reducing or increasing spring mean. Use proper language - like to lossen the arm or tighten it to hold it in place.

The arms use a sprung counter-balance system, so rather than loosening or tightening the mount, you adjust the spring tension until it matches the weight of the monitor. When adjusted correctly, the arm can be moved up and down freely and stay at the set height without further adjustment.

We're sorry the stand isn't working! Have you mounted the monitor and installed it to the desk? If so, try reducing the spring support by turning the screw on top of the center arm joint clockwise. When correctly adjusted, you can move the monitor down with a touch, and it will stay where you set it. Cotton candy absorbs moisture from the air like a sponge unfortunately, so it can melt very quickly in high humidity. On days like that, all we can recommend is making it indoors in an air conditioned environment (keep a dehumidifier running if necessary) and then bagging it right away.

If using one of our desktops with pre-drilled holes, this adjustment can be left loose until the desktop is installed. For any others, we typically adjust the crossbar length to leave about 5" to 10" of space on each side of the desktop, or for smaller desks, it can go nearly up to the edges.

How do you adjust horizontal tension if your desk is 100% level? When I put the monitor on it slowly just moves backwards away from me. I can not see any way to tighten it on the horizontal rotation axis.

The small set screw on the back of the stand (where the arm inserts into the base) can be tightened more to reduce arm movement. It's unusual for the arm to drift back on a level desk. Is it possible the weight of the stand and monitor is causing the desktop to lean backward slightly?

The Odyssey G5 32" monitor is well within the weight limit, so this mount will support it. Since the monitor has a recessed shape in back, you may have to use longer M4 screws with some spacers between the monitor and plate for a proper fit (most hardware stores will have these available).

Remove the thumbscrew from the back of the square plate, then lift the monitor off from the arm. The VESA mounting plate can then be removed from the monitor by taking out the 4 screws holding it.

For the 2012 and newer iMacs, the base is non-removable without fully disassembling the whole system. This was the simplest solution we could make.
