Some of my Protestant French ancestors left La Rochelle because of religious persecution and eventually became members of some of the founding families of New Rochelle, in New York. I wish I knew more about them and what they experienced. Sigh.

Thank you for your kind words! The gardens of Château de la Napoule can typically be explored in about 1 to 2 hours, depending on your pace and interest in the details. If you love gardens, you should definitely visit the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. It's about a 45-minute drive from La Napoule. Vous avez tout à fait raison, j'ai effectivement fait une simplification un peu excessive en regroupant Rocamadour et Saint-Cirq-Lapopie dans le Périgord. Heureux que vous ayez apprécié les images malgré cette imprécision :). Quant à l'accent, il y a une chaine française @onedayoriginals_fr si vous préférez la langue de Molière, et sur celle-ci, promis pas d'accent 😉 !

En España hay varios desiertos unicos en Europa como tales este de las Bardenas es impresionante pero el mas grande de España no esta muy lejos es el de lps Monegros con 256.000 hectareas o sea casi 2.600 km2 aprox cifra respetable o el de Tavernas donde se han rodado muchas peliculas internacionales de vaqueros esta considerado como el unico desierto como tal de Europa el resto son zonas semi-deserticas; buen video
