Your explanation and description of this device was very good, but you didn’t demonstrate the morphing ability. You just ran through the various preset sounds. Can you possibly do another video that actually shows how it sounds when morphing from one preset to another when using an expression pedal or when using the time parameter?
@neoland6668 сағат бұрын
Again, you are right, maybe I spend another episode on that in the near future. It's not really bass related though. How many bassplayers out there are using this device...

@@neoland666 , Anyone doing a search for information on the Lexicon Vortex will find your video to be of interest regardless of how they plan on using it. Keep in mind that it was designed to be used as a live performance effect for guitar players, not studio use. I found your video when I was looking for any info on the Lexicon Vortex, wasn't looking for information on using it with a bass guitar. It's a fairly rare piece of equipment, so there are very few videos about it, and it seems that almost no one shows how it sounds when the effects are being morphed. We all want to hear it being used to actively morph from one sound to another when used while playing an instrument. 🙂

Thanks for the review and getting to the point with the comparisons. I am really impressed with the DoDo bass, and it sounded a little over driven but that has its place in Rock and Metal. I still liked the CV 50’s Precision a little more. I am seriously considering this CV 50 or the 60’s precision? I had a 60’s Precision bass when I was in high school back in the late 70’s and mine was Olympic white with a tortoise shell pick guard and I put a BadAss bridge and a brass nut on it and a man who was a luthier who worked in the basement of Boyd’s Music Store Burlington Vermont and he worked on my bass and my friends guitars. I really love the way the 50’s p looked when you kind of rolled it up and down and it caught the light on the front and back.
