When R F came out with this song, I didn’t understand what she was trying to say. Didn’t make sense to me. After hearing the true story of why she wrote it, knowing how wonderful Don is , I understand!!!!

When someone writes a song based on her personal experience, in this case, at the Don McLean concert.. A song that touched her to her soul, so much that she wrote about her experience of that at that concert.. Nothing can beat her version of the song.. Her heart and soul are in the song... Others can cover it... but it will always be hers and hers alone.

not sure why this appeared on my 'what to watch list ' Adult ? Midweek and Addams . I grew up with the family :-) A lot of hard work went into this ! The script is awesome , dark , yes , funny , poigniant straight talk :-) Slick presentation .
