Holy shit! I saw Elvin Bishop in 1977 as a warm up band for Chicago and I still remember how great these vocals were.

I remember this song when it first came out in the summer of 1974, when I was about 12. Loved it then, still love it today. As a side note, it's interesting to see the musicians playing this old classic with technology that didn't even exist 50 years ago when the song first hit the airwaves. It's an example of how things change... and don't change at the same time.

Man, I've been so nostalgic lately. JB counting down and the first notes being hit brought me to tears. These guys are gold. Legends. Just the best. I grew up in the 70s and there's nothing like the music from that time.

I thought that was Kipp Lennon, and sure enough, it is. I used to watch his band, Venice, many years ago. In fact, that looks like the rest of the band singing backup. Great band. They sound good.

What young geniuses they were and so many never realised as the music had a middle of the road feel when heavy rock and prog rock were in. Yet SD and Eagles were miles ahead with many top notch songs. Not one duff song. Other bands were great but none produced the same number of great songs.
