6:02 I think this is a super interesting topic to explore and I've thought about it for a while as someone entrenched in the music industry especially. Take the punk subculture, for instance. Their aesthetics were influenced by their ideology. Their rebellious sociopolitical beliefs manifested in their fashion the same way, like dressing against societal norms. These days people want the look but it's not informed by any ideological background. (This goes for a lot of subcultures, not just my example of punk.) Like you said, that's why people are afraid to speak on certain issues. I'm not claiming everybody's a poser; I think it's healthy to imitate iconic looks popularized by different subcultures and partake in that kind of fashion. But very few people seem to live up to that sentiment of ideology influencing aesthetic, not the other way around.

I just wanna share my story might be boring but a big heart break for me . I loved science and still do but the society and the people around me tells me its hard to do or i wont be able to do it and myself believed it back a while i started fearing me losing interest in it or imagining that i wouldnt be able to do it idk where my life leads but im working hard to return back to my spark for science which ik is there but shoveled deep inside by the society around me . I just want this to be a message to everyone that please listen to yourself and only yourself and never let anyones decision be your decision unless its good for you!
