For awhile there young people were buying ikea crap, but I’m seeing a trend towards the great old things like this that will literally last a lifetime (or many lifetimes). Our bedroom set was hubbys grandparents set, over 100 years old and still great!

Quarter sawn oak.. not tiger oak..it's how the wood is cut.. not some species of oak

That's a great desk. I have my great Grandfather's roll top, it has three drawers on each side, long drawer in the middle, multiple slots on top , small narrow drawers under the slots, and a little cubby with a door. And a row of little pull out boxes I guess you would call them. Solid oak. I love it❤

You can tell how well made it is because the back is made of wood not particle board. Beautiful craftsmanship and it's amazing it's in such good shape. 🙂🖖💕
