I would consider a Cackatrice dangerous...if they weren't so small. Also, why do they also call this creature a Basilisk when I saw a creature of the same name that looked more like a giant snake than some scaly chicken

No gargoyles will not fight unless means of leadership terms there skin can range from stone to wood and there weaknesses include holy water falling tho rarely but it can still kill them if not flying, yes other gargoyles but this is a rarity as gargoyles listen to the largest one and only have been killed by each other under extreme situations. Finally any holy object as in holy water doused blades arrows, king Arthur's Excalibur and the Pope's staff.

3:15 Mate, the Girallon are rip offs of the White Apes from the Barsoom series, better known as the John Carter of Mars books by Edgar Rice Burroughs, the same chap whom wrote Tarzan. The film John Carter is based off the first book A Princess of Mars, it didn't reference or rip off anything, D&D was the one ripping off that.

The mythical cockatrices possessing dragon-like wings and ability to transform living things into stone doesn't seem scientifically accurate, the scientifically accurate version of the mythical cockatrice would have more avian wings, it would still possess a serpentine tail, though it would be completely covered in feathers, the same also said for much of its body, cockatrices would be described as a mythical remnant of the dinosaurs.

Liches are mages that wanted to live forever and achieve immense power. A mage can be a wizard, sorcerer, necromancer, etc. Basically anyone that uses and practices magic.

Gnoll are obviously inspired by the Kishi/Utongen an African cryptic which are anthro hyenas that have the ability to turn into humans. There is also the Bhudai. A shaman who transforms into a hyena

I am here because, I had a dream someone told me I was a gargoyle dragon in a past life and I need to heal this aspect, it is why I and people near me suffer from darkness. In my dream I was so mad I went outside and called the all father. I only talk to god/source, it's not a term I'd use. I think the cockatrice could have been a dinosaur Velociraptor or Oviraptor. It's possible they became extinct from hunting or climate change.

When making fantasy worlds I personally prefer to make them a race that symboitically live with humans by protecting their villages at night in return get protection during the day when their stone skin hardens.
