One thing i like most about this ship is it runs cold as ice. When your fuel scooping you can park right on top of the star.

it feels like flying a can tbh. Everybody talks about the small canopy, but the creaking sound is just awful. It feels like it's about to disassemble. Flying Krait MK 2 for exploration nowadays, never looked back.

I have to disagree, I need the Python for passenger missions and hauling where only S and M size pads are available.

I run my DBX with a main AND a backup AFMU. Makes things a bit less tense.

I have a corvette I sunk like 2 1/2 years of engineering into her, and I can successfully say she has earned her moniker as The Queen of the Haz res sites and Conflict Zones she’s a 2 huge multicannon and 5 beam build with thermal vent and efficient weapon She also has a prismatic shield with reinforced Hi-Cap and a ton of booster and 2 size 7 cell banks and with the thermal vent means I don’t need to sacrifice shield strength for heatsinks my ship is the heat sink and her name and I think this is very well earned considering in terms of bounties, combat bonds and assassination missions she has close to 17-18 thousands confirmed kills

One of the main draws to me purchasing a ship is the view out of its cockpit, and the beluga has a beautiful one. The Clipper, Asp, Beluga, and ... lol the Type 9 are my favorite to look out into space.

When I first left the bubble, really left the bubble, I scanned every system I could. I was in a poorly built asp with a class 2 fuel scoop. It took a full 7 minutes to fill that tank from empty to full, and I spent those minutes, hours, days picking my way through the galaxy scanning every celestial body I could. Sending DSS probes to every water world, methane world, heck, sometimes even all the mineral rich planets. Following a very unfortunate death by neutron star and a long, journey home, I found that all that scanning, days of work made be something like 200 million credits richer. There probably were responsible ways to spend that money. Maybe I should've bought a nice python, gotten some classy modules, and kept a reasonable nest egg as insurance money. Instead, I bought an Anaconda. Barely the money to spare for shields, a reactor, FSD, guns, what have you. And the journey since? Scraping the money together to make it a class A, engineered beauty? Nothing compares. I'm glad that I bought that conda. Glad I saw those stars. And a little more cautious about dropping out of Frameshift anywhere near a wibbly wobbly star.

I mined in a type 9 for a while. Better have shields. You will bounce off rocks. I have also dodged quite a few interdictions in one but it's a nail biter. The type 10 is worse because of how the hardpoints are positioned but at least you have the military grade hull reinforcements. Currently using an anaconda.

500+ hours into the game with only 40 bounties to my name. You could say I don't care about combat. But I needed to fix that for RP purposes. So a guy helped me sort out a shield tank build for my Cutter. And it was impressive. Literally nothing the NPCs could do against an 8A prismatic Cutter, even without engineering. But I found my beloved Cutter was just too slow for me. I had tried other meta fighters like the Vulture and Chieftain. I found them too zippy for my taste. I figured there was nothing between these extremes. The FDL never crossed my mind. "So good it's boring" sounds exactly what I'm looking for. A goldilocks ship, not too fast, not too slow. Decent hull, decent shields, big guns. Got almost a billion credits tied up in my Cutter. But might have to swap it back to a trader and get an FDL for bounty hunting. Or, for now, use the Cutter for salvage missions and let the NPC pilot deal with pests while I scoop scrap from space.

It seems my wish for more ships with underslung bridges has been granted with the incomming Type 8. I wonder if we will get a review of it.

The Mamba is a beast. I sold my krait mk2 for it. Bought Shipparts for it, to make it looks like a space racing monster. A masterpiece for all bounty hunters and spice pirates: Get it, blast off and frame out ❤

The first carrier I bought was the Shark. I must have had some sort of discount cause I bought it for around 35 Million Credits. It didn't have top of the line thrusters but I don't think I skimped on anything important. Off the top of my head it is really fast for an XL ship.
