You can make lemonade with its flowers when its in bloom. But you cannot drink too much at once because it has laxative properties. 🙂

I'm a bit confused. 50 years ago, around Thanksgiving and Christmas, we would get bags of assorted nuts with the shell still on, including walnuts. They looked nothing like your fuzzy black walnuts. They were clean, dry and looked like hard, brown wood with a distinct seam all the way around the shell. We, as young children, were given a nutcracker - a tiny metal handheld lever that looked like 2 chopsticks connected at one end. We would crack the nut ourselves in the palm of our hand and pick out the walnut pieces (and other assorted nuts). Yum. I don't know why your walnuts look so different in the shell. Why don't you skip the cracking step and sell the nuts in the shell, clean, dry and brown?

Best to stay away from this as even small amounts can be toxic. Do your research and don't trust these videos..

All parts of the pokeweed plant are poisonous, especially roots and seeds, but its toxicity is generally considered to be low. Pokeweed can reach up to 10 feet tall and has distinctly red stems and berries that change from green to dark purple when ripe. real genius ! teach people to use a toxic plant that literally leads to liver and kidney sclerosis over prolonged use! please by all means keep using it! the more of you dummies that partake of natural selection the easier it will be for those of us whom ain't intellectually deficient!

Is there such thing as poison ivy immunity? Whenever my mom pulls weeds she gets poison ivy, but whenever I pull weeds for her for money, I don’t get anything, not even the slightest itch

Crazy to think 100 years ago there was an even bigger wild producer in the forests of the eastern us. The american chestnut, giving people calories for thousands of years.

I got a bit sad when you said "let your medicine be your food" and then later said, that you "don't drink the tea for it's flavour." I always find, that the best way, to encourage the use of food medicine, is to make it taste good. So my thought would immediately be to combine it with something else that does taste good, to make it taste better. My partner has a bit of a toddler palatte, so anything that doesn't appeal to him, he tends to ignore or 'forget' about, but luckily, he really enjoys chamomile, so I make a lot of herbal blends, centered around chamomile, to make them taste nice. Because I think that's such a big part of making this all make sense. I find that a lot of people have a hard time sticking to habits they find unpleasant.

Have you made clover cough honey? It is so simple and delicious and perfect to sooth your throat when you have a cold, just add honey. I boil 2 different colours and let it steep in an extremely gentle boil for about 20 to 30 minutes.. of course wash thoroughly before boiling.. add honey and lemon to desire
