With this screen size I doubt you're likely to see a difference between the lower and higher resolution specs.

@@SimplestUsername macbook air feels quite low res. You get used to 4k. Can make everything smaller. And especially pdfs with hand writing and scientific symbols it makes a big difference.

Not with my laptop. I suggest you always run a cinabench (downloadable via Microsoft store) test to give it some heavy load so you can spot the problem early on and get it replaced/returned if possible.

Great Video, I went for the MSI Prestige 13 AI with Ultra 7 155h and 32gb option with OLED display. Still finding that the performance is definitely lacking compared to AMD. However with Intel updating Drivers im sure it will be greatly improved in a few months.

hard to tell if it's wooting killer because you have not shown a single image or walk through of the SW that, one of the key things that makes the wooting better then everything else. if you are going to claim something is better then another, make sure you are ready to show why, building a keyboard is not a why.. Regardless, a quality video for what it was.. but I hope you have a follow up with some SW..

For me the big benefit is the multi layout options all in one PCB. I don't care if it's as fast but the standard layout 60 is a deal breaker for me with the wooting 60

@@p.e.r.c.y in the end I've gone with glorious, it's not HE, (I'm using speed silvers), but it's inline with my mouse and I know the SW works and it's readily available to purchase and shipped to Canada in days, maybe when wooting maintains an inventory the the 80 is out I'll look back at them.

@@JayEhyWhy at the last min i cancelled my glorious order and went with the AKKO 007 mod HE it's pretty good, although i've had a few moments where the switch, did not release and it kept pulling my character in that direction. but its rare.. for now this is damn good and it sounds great ( minus the space bar, it's got a bit of that hollow plastic sound ) Oh and I think this goes from most HE keyboards, if the power goes out and you are not able to control the shut down, I find I need to re calibrate .. ( goes back to the switch not releasing )

I didn't have such a problem. You might want to try update the firmware. You can find them here: www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/xps-13-9340-laptop/drivers If you still facing the issue I suggest you reach out to the customer service. Dell has the top tier customer service in the PC market so don't worry.

The Dell XPS 13 Lineup has always been my favorite series of laptops period. I'm so glad that after 12 years we finally have one that can preform decent in modern games! Before I always had to use an eGPU, now I can finally say goodbye to that!

@@prashantn687 configuration is a Qualcomm snapdragon x elite with 16 GB ram and 512 GB SSD. Display is 1920x1200 non touch. I use it for a specialized open-source video editor called kdenlive and for playing Minecraft. It runs Minecraft excellently and I make sure to use arm64 java. It does not get hot much (usually the fans never turn on)

I think you need to download their aura creator, that's a software that is coupled with the amoury crate, that gives you more option to customize the lighting.

Thank you for this review. Very good and detailed. I have ordered this laptop and immediately plan to upgrade the SSD to a bigger capacity, Dell is selling Gen3 SSD for this laptop searately.. While Crucial has Gen4 SSDs that they just recommended for the 9340. Do you know if it makes sense to get the later faster SSD or will the 9340 only support the Gen3 ones? How fast is the SSD as supplied (512Gb)? Many thanks for any advice.

The machine uses gen 4 PCIe SSD in m.2 2280 form factor. It uses micron crucial SSD by default, which is slightly slower than the fastest Samsung Pro lineup.

U got my Sub😊 Question: regarding the VRR on the ViewSonic does it support VRR if I connect USB C to USB C dock? I ask because i plan to connect my Rog Ally via the Jsaux dock to the monitor as I want to use mouse and keyboard as well. Also will the power delivery via a dock and a 100W power adapter be enough to charge the Rog Ally and use boost mode :)?

Thanks! I’m glad you found the video helpful. 1. Yes, make sure you use a usb c cable that has enough bandwidth. The safest option is thunderbolt 4 cable that supports 40gbps data transfer. USB C charge cable on the other hand won’t work. 2. I’m have no idea how many watts JSAUX dock will let through the dock but theoretically 100w should be just fine.

@@neotokyovidso I got the monitor l; view sonic, and everything you said is right. My only issue is that when I dock my Rog Ally to Anker hub and then connect anker to the monitor via the USB C cable; the monitor does not detect a signal. It seems there are no docks that can out out video via USB C 😢 so I’m stuck using HDMI with no VRR. If you know of a potential solution that would be great, and if I find one I’ll be sure to mention 😊 Also, what picture settings do you use for the view sonic :)
