oh and you basicly get it for free with all the software it ships.. only analog lab 5 alone has more than 2000 presets and everything is changeable to your liking .. ableton lite also included.. not using that.. im using Reason 12 .. little shitty to setup however once you got it working.. 🥰

Hi, trying to find solution on youtube brought me here.. It's my first time to have arturia keylab mk3 and I'm really struggling to set it up for live playing such as the ports on the back are just midi cable, control and usb. I can't figure it out how to make it sound. It would be very helpful if you kindly make a video setting it up (cable connections). Have a good one!

you need to connect it to your DAW either through the MIDI or USB C port and get sound through a plugin or the sound library in your DAW. Hope that helps!

I just bought this a week ago and will soon be using it with a DAW, but in the meantime I am just using it with the free included Analog Lab software in standalone mode. The integration with the controls is very good.

@@clock508 Yes, the Keylab is just a controller. It has no inbuilt synthesiser and needs to be connected to a computer which uses software to generate the sounds. Standalone mode allows playing the Analog Lab software on it's own as opposed to playing it as a plugin within a DAW such as Logic or Ableton.

I got this keyboard/midi 2 days ago they are NOT weighted. Great device though . If you want weighted go for the 88 model they ARE weighted.
