Hi, when power outage exist for say 2 min, then back, can the device start streaming automatic after booting, connecting? +start recording too?

Hi! We actually are not completely sure on this one. NDI will likely come back but streaming or recording may or may not. We are going to do a little digging on this and will get back to you :).

The controller we are using in this video is the Canon RC-IP100 PTZ. We still fully recommend it but the RC-IP1000 is another great option from Canon. Your choice will likely depend on your budget and which features are important to you.

Hello! It could be one of a few things as to why CEC isn't working for you. It is most likely the display you are using. CEC isn't a set standard and depending on the display the CEC version could be incompatible. Depending on when you bought your Play, it is possible the hardware could be the issue as well. We recommend getting in touch with BirdDog directly for further help on this birddog.tv/ticket/

Looking to send cam ops to a remote location and SRT back to studio. If the two e3 encoders sending separate SRT feeds to vmix. Can they be time synced?

Hello! No they cannot be time synced unless you are using vmix to sync them. If the units are in the same location they may be easy to sync and stay that way but if they are in different locations the latency won't be similar so it may not stay consistent.

backblaze documentation lacks details of the service and pricing structure. To make it complicated backblaze B2 and computer backup are different products but available from same page. If someone could help, tell me the approximate cost of S3 glacier equivalent service from backblaze for the following use case: Backup my portable 500GB HDD in the cloud, just for redundancy. If my HDD gets too old to be usable in the future, maybe after 5-10 years then I might request the download of this data, and hours of waiting for retrival is perfectly okay for me.

Good morning i been using the Furman PL-PLUS C Power Conditioner with Voltmeter and i notice a big improvement in the sound using a rotary analog mixer, turntables and the f1 bose , my question is if the P-1800 PFR prestige will give me even more improvement in the sound , love your review!!

There is more filtering in the prestige line so there should be a performance improvement but it is up to your ears if you will hear a difference. We always recommend getting the best your budget will allow!

I'm looking to add Birddog Plays to 8 different rooms in our facility. I was hoping to rely on the CEC remote control for input switching but I've heard about compatibilty issues with different TVs. In particular, I'm looking to use the BD Plays with LG 86" TVs. Do you have any information regarding compatibility with specific TVs?

Hey Devon. Sorry for the late follow-up on this. CEC has been very hit-and-miss with the Play, hence the creation of this video for alternatives. As of me writing this, there is no official list of what TVs have been tested. It can vary from make to even model. Since the Play is so inexpensive, it may be worth picking one up to try out with your TVs. The BirdDog Central option is the best workaround for controlling multiple Plays quickly.

You can do the same thing with the ATEM Streaming bridge but that solution is purely hardware and unfortunately you will have to send every remote caller hardware to pull it off.

We have the Elite 2, and set up 6 callers to 6 inputs. But if a caller drops out or another caller jumps in, it messes up the input order! Is there a way to lock a caller to a specific input???
