It's 32 years after it was released and this is still the most amazing TMNT song. I was 10 when the movie came out and a big turtle fan when I was younger. I even did a photo shoot with some friends where the four of us wore samurai armor but with TMNT colored sashes and holding the TMNT classic weapons too. The real kryme here is that this video somehow only has 36 thousand views instead of 36 million.

Crazy how much of an impact this movie and song have had on my life, When I was 4 the VHS came out right before Xmas and I got it in a "Secret Santa" from another kid, Bless those Parents wherever they are. I have watched this movie more times than I can possibly count. I can close my eyes and fall asleep to it and know exactly what facial expressions they're making without looking. I am 35 now and am blessed with the ability to memorize songs very quickly and commit them to memory, I am basically a human jukebox and as vast as my knowledge of rap and hip hop along with many other genres is now, even though I can do Twista, Bone Thugs, Busta and more. This song remains incredibly impressive to me, literally the man is telling part of the story with every verse, I dunno if my dude watched the movie a bunch of times and made a jam or someone else wrote it, either way! The cadence and energy along with the lyrics and chorus was my first real introduction to Rap and it was inspirational and inspiring! Definitely steered me and I'm sure many others towards my passion for music today.. I'd legit rate this higher up against 90% of today's rappers even if it came out today lol!
