I started the Battalion Search and Rescue in 2020 in part to honor John Riley and the Saint Patrick's Battalion. We are the only all volunteer Arizona based humanitarian group focusing on lost and missing migrants. Long live the Saint Patrick's Battalion!

I am 61 years old was never taught about this in school. I am, Irish, Scottish, Cherokee, and Norse. My grandfather last name Ireland was so ashamed of being Irish,he married my grandmother born in Scotland last name McGuire, her grandparents came from Ireland to Scotland to work in the mines. Her mother was a Bettie that's Scottish. Now my grandmother was proud of being part Irish and Scottish. She told me why grandpa was not living in St. Louis MO. His father died in 1913 his mother being poor and Irish they took her children from her and put them in a orphanage that's what they did to the Irish. You were treated less then human and yes they were Catholic. He ran away from the orphanage in 1917, lie about his age and joined the Army so he could make money to send to his mother to get his brothers and sisters out of the orphanage. One by one they all got returned and my grandpa made a career and a name for himself in the Army 15 ribbons and 9 battle stars 18 months in infantry in WW1, 4 years in South Pacific, 13 months in Korea. In the long run he is what we say a fighting Irishman. I am proud of those brave men who took the side of Mexico and fought for Her. What would it be like to leave your home land promised a better life in America yet to fine the same. Looked down on because of being Catholic and Irish, now still poor and pushed into a war you know nothing about to go kill the people in the town's women and children who have nothing to do with the war just because where they lived, and the greed of a man named Polk who wanted more land started it and use the immigrants coming to America to win the war. The more I read about my gov. and the wars that they have been in and started shame me what I was taught in school is told by the ones who won the wars and lie about it. Most wars are backed both sides buy the bankers who make money off are son's and daughter's life's they never come back the same and are not respected are treated right, right now all Americans are being used as guinea pigs for a vac. It don't keep you from getting it but will keep you from having what's left of your freedoms. I could say a whole lot more but what is worth me saying is be proud of who you are don't be fooled by a wall. The sick ones running the show only want to use you 1. was to win the election. 2. to get your children for selling into s e x slaves, and 3. To fight in the race war of the so called white privileged. They care not for you are for there so called own there is no freedom left. Not till we all come together and stand up against them for are children. The so called UN is wanting to make us all slaves and live in boxes on top of each other and depend on them to give us fake food and own nothing. They say we are going to like it. It's time the big company stop stealing from us destroy mother nature and making it are fault calling it The Green deal. No deal for anyone but them. Corps care not about us but about money making a big prophet. The corp's are backed by the bankers just like in 1846-1848 never content with what they had but got to grab more take what's not there's by force. I pray that more are awake then asleep because we need to stand up and say no more there way more of us then them.

Los trajes que lleva la banda son escoceses, no irlandeses. Las gaitas en este video son las grandes gaitas de guerra escocesas. Las gaitas irlandesas se llaman pipas Uilleann y tienen un sonido más suave y dulce.
