Interesting take. It wants to be haunting & ethereal & mesmerizing but it falls short. It sounds hollow & tinny & echoes as if it was recorded in a tunnel. Yet there is that tinge of sadness that encapsulates the song. Perhaps because it stirs up memories of Judy Garland & all of the pain she endured throughout her lifetime. Still, it's nothing like Lana Del Rey can re-imagine. LDR has a gift for infusing a dream-like quality reminiscent of nostalgia into a song & making it her own. This a tough song to reinterpret & Judy Garland is a tough act to follow. 💔 😿💔

Simple, but powerful. The melody is not the closest to my taste, I prefer Thrash Metal, less melodic vocals, more aggressive... Or something in between like Suicidal Tendencies (crossover thrash). Anyway, it's very nice and cathartic!

I can remaster your track for free...if you have either stems, or a higher quality file? If you are interested....and don't mind?....The keyboard sound is a bit loud, and too much reverb on the voice to really hear it well. I wrote these lyrics in 2015. I was living with my girlfriend, just moved into a new house after living in a cramped apartment for two years. This is one of the first songs that came out of me. I had been feeling stuck and only having “within” to get freedom, it was hell, but I’m glad I got some good lyrics out of the suffering
