why is this called "distance control"? it is the opposite. if it were good distance, the first hit would be successful. instead this is just flicking and in-fighting after the first failed attempt. the distance calculations in the initial actions are miscalculations.

When released this video, I couldn't think of what to put as the title as there isn't a particular theme connecting the touches (except that the original videomaker liked them) so I dreamt up "DISTANCE CONTROL Foil Fencing Highlights" to put as the title as it's pretty broad.

Could they not dip these swords in some fluorescent paint or something? When in motion as they’re bending and reflecting their surroundings it’s not that easy for the eye to track each opponent’s sword. (I don’t follow this sport in case that’s not abundantly clear)
