nice build..how much weight in total have been added since from your stock hilux?

Hey mate, tray weighs around 250kg so maybe a slight bit heavier than a tub, the canopy is heavy at around 450kg but all in all it’s a heavy girl with a total fully loaded weight at around 3500kg

Yes sorry ended up forgetting to film about that one but basically I screwed the magnetic side of the latch to the awning and then lined it up and mounted the latching side to the roof rack. This allows me to just push it in and it automatically closes. Any other questions DM me on instagram

And why not!! Awesome and not just for off-roaders , I bought a 4wd hilux to get me in and out of worksites that 2wds couldn’t do, I loved my hiace ( I love my hilux too )but my hiace back in 2003 everything was dry and well organised not to mention the reliability factor, I would seriously consider this as an option and a game changer for Toyota if they understand the Australian needs. No kids to taxi around I only need 2 seats now. 👍

Hi mate. Have you had any issues with the bags not going back in the cradle and pinching when off-road? What kit did you use? Can the bag be mounted to the chassis or diff or the diff only.

Hey mate, Never really had any problems with them miss aligning or pinching. And I used the poly air spring cradle kit, and the mounting is dependent on the vehicle

Thanks, sir. I'd like to inquire about improving the driving experience on uneven roads. Would adding airbags to the stock leaf suspension enhance the ride quality on bumpy surfaces? Additionally, would installing airbags and removing some leaf suspension plates contribute to a smoother ride?

Thanks for tips! Are you running extended shackles with your cradle kit? I'm running 3-500kg constant 2" parabolics and feels rough as dropping from an extended shackle down to a standard size one 😅

What 4WD equipment does it come with stock? 1. Low range? 2. Diff locks? 3. Hill descent control?

The design of a van is not suitable for off-road, mainly because of the ground clearance. As it will stuck in most of the times whenever it meets with bump, hump, deep rim & mud + it's water clearance is not visible. Therefore it can easily got stuck in deep water/mud & may cause a real deal of repair work. Overall my P.O.V is that a 4x4 van very suitable for snowy & slippery road. My humble 2 cents view TQ

Tyre pressure is everything. Drop them to 18psi. The loss of clearance is nothing compared to the loss of traction when you don’t air down correctly.
