As someone who own this mould and got it MIB about 5 years back, the alt mode is pretty sweet, but man that robot mode is hard to stomach, it sits so far back on my shelf since it feels like a purchase I only justified doing cause Nightbeat is not likely to get a new figure for a while. The knees generally do suck, but if I'm being honest the elbows annoy me more. When you use the bend you can't use the swivel at the bicep cause of the weird moulding that collides with the arm, and then the door wings being attached to the shoulder annoy me cause they clang into everything when moving forward I really hope they can update him soon, since I wanna see him being done right

My T30 Nightbeat has a funky knee as well, I'm glad it's not just me. I should just stop being lazy and put some joint liquid like Kiki's in there because you're right, the ratchets aren't really necessary for a figure that small. I do like the figure for what it is though but HasTak need to lock in and make a new chug Nightbeat with modern engineering and QC, because IDW made me a big fan of Nightbeat.
