@@grendelsgallery You might be right on that. I've only preordered 2 boxes of AL so far but plan to order another 10 before release date. However, i will spread purchases around to avoid clumping.

@Coyote1911 yes there are starter decks and they're very cheap relatively speaking but you local LGS should have them. Booster Boxes/packs can be a little tough to find, but there's plenty of singles out there. A lot of good decks out there don't need expensive cards

@@grendelsgallery Not sure if you’ve picked them up from dacardworld, but that’s where I’ve got them when their sales are on. The only thing is you need to buy a few boxes to make the shipping cost work in your favour. Same cost for 1 or 4 boxes means you need to outlay a fair bit to make it worthwhile. I’m in a similar situation regarding Sorcery…I’ve bought 10 boxes and shudder to think that I have spent almost 3K since about mid Dec when I bought my first one. Having to really pump the breaks atm…which is sort of frustrating because I’m just 28 cards short of a non foil beta set and 76 short of a 2nd. Would love to just lash out and buy a case just to get it done, but can’t do that just yet. I do have an Air Avatar Curio that I could sell that would pretty much get back most of what I’ve spent, but I’m keen to also hang onto it and maybe get it graded. Need to win bloody Tatts…lol

10 foils in a Beta box, that's good going, haven't heard anyone do that. Congratulations on getting closer to the NF set...with almost 70 uniques it's certainly tough!

@@grendelsgallery Must have got 10 twice actually because I’ve got 74 foils from 8 boxes. Had crazy luck, the only doubles I’ve got are 2 Waveshapers (sold one on eBay), a divine healing, lava salamander and 3 Overpowers…68/74 are just single copies which is just a nuts result. Even spread too…6 Uniques, 16 Elites (maybe 18 with the 2 avatar foils?), 23 exceptionals and 19 ordinaries.

What a muppet…I forgot that I bought 2 precon boxes and got 2 foils from each of the boosters…I definitely did only get 6 uniques in one of my last boxes though. Noticed a difference in the print colour in the last 2 boxes…they came from NZ. Can’t believe I missed a chance to get a case from that store…just didn’t have the money to spend…but they were going for $1260 with shipping…yikes. No longer available of course…

@paulstephens7973 people have been saying those single precon packs are epic 😅. Anyway, a lot of stores should be getting a top up to their original order sizes over the next month, so hopefully you'll see Beta box prices come down a bit again
