Hi Madhan, that was a very instructive video and I want to congratulate you for producing an easy to understand video. I have two questions, as I am totally new to AutoPipe: 1. If we have, say, a steam system comprising 50 separate isometrics; then would one not import all 50 isos as separate AutoPipe drawings and then analyze separate isos or somehow combine all in one drawing and then carry out the stress analyses? 2. How can I add a title block to the AutoPipe iso? Thanks very much.

Hi Sohail, 1) I don't understand. If you are planning to start modelling in AutoPipe using the ISO's then it is up to you on whether to model every piping or just the critical piping for stress analysis. Also note that you can't import a ISO in AutoPipe but only can produce ISO's as output in AutoPipe. 2) You need to edit the border files located in the c:\programdata\bentley\autopipe connect v12\isoextractor\borders\dgn\ folder to insert your title block.

Not possible in the physical modeler currently. But it is possible in the analytical modeler.

Hello, i have a question.... how do you set the unit in section database to be metric? I have tried changing the configuration, section unit and other input units to be metric, but i keep ending up with imperial units in section database
@madhanelumalai73283 жыл бұрын
It is not possible to change the units in the steel section database. If you are trying to modify the American steel section database, they are in Imperial units. There is no way to change it. All other country steel section database are in SI units.

Hi. Can you some nice online platforms to learn this software.

LEARN.BENTLEY.COM. You need to be a Bentley SELECT Subscriber in order to use this learn server. Alternative option is to use the Bentley Pipe Stress Analysis youtube channel.
