I love Boston R.I.P Brad but everything about Brad's voice was true until the famous 3-stage belt.,the multitracking in the studio kinda fucked it for Brad's live performance he just couldn't hit that note live.. The experts are figuring this out and now Brad's sadly not the extreme talent we thought. There is an 80's live version where he nailed it pretty good but I'M having a hard time finding it.He's still an awesome singer I just think he shoulda prepared himself a little better 4 their live shows.

This is why Scotty wanted John, he wanted somebody who could write lyrics that the fans could sink their teeth into. He got it and fucked it up.

Jesse Davey is the real deal. Incredible tone and SRV chops done tastefully and not being an outright clone. Plenty of them around but Jesse would slay them all.

I thought it was cool, that we sat there and rocked out/in love with this album,in 7th grade,in Colorado. As soon as it came out-wild fire.A few months later we moved back to Michigan-same exact thing was going on there.

And I forgot to mention an implied throat punch for the morons in this audience. The song started and so many people didn't react at all. No 😠! First of all it's rude to the artists, and second of all how can you not want to listen to every second of this? I would have given anything to see him live.

I was there. They came on around 10a. Right after scorpions and right before journey. Then thin lizzy, ted nugent and aerosmith headlined. Joe perry quit aerosmith this day, after a fight with tyler before the show. What a crazy day!

I was there as well. My uncle took me to the show. I was visiting from out of town. The people in the crowd were wild. As a 12 year old, I was more interested in what people were doing to each other as opposed the bands.

Before I comment in this I want to say, I absolutely love Boston. This song and basically every song from the first LP. However, and I realize after reading the other comments that im in the minority here, but this is an awful rendition of "Hitch a Ride". The sound is terrible and, to be honest, the band seems pretty inspired. I've heard cover bands do a way better job. Ive never saw Boston live so, maybe they were having an off night. Or, maybe they are just better in the studio.
