Hi, I noticed that the timing belt cover is missing. How did you manage to set the cam timing 100% without the mark on the cover? I have same situation and suspect cam timing might be slightly out. Engine runs rough and won't start when cold.

I had the same issue I bought a TPS sensor and a idle valve sensor from GW give me more problems after a week I put the original TPS sensor back and it behaved but now i have a over fueling problem number 3 spark plug was wet I put a new spark plugs still doing the same thing I purchased a second-hand injector which I did not replace then I checked the firing order on the coil pack was wrong that's what the Mechanic said so I drove the car has power everything open number 3 spark plug and it was dry but the other issue I have is that it struggles to start at sometimes this is my second corsa first one never give me problems

Or your idle control valve can stuck sometimes then it does that and clean your throttle body and down there by your idle control valve

Exe. Lekker content. Did engine swap on Utility. Removed 17Y and replaced it with 1.4 C (gamma)... it drives but very poorly. 1. MAP is not wired. 2. Still have the diesel transmission in it Chows spark plugs (black carbon) smell like gasoline. Poor power response. Backfires sometimes when decelerating. Sounds like air is restricted @ throttle is fully open (can hear the engine notes through air filter box when you really step on it) I'm trying to find resources on the electrical Circuits as a lot of the erlewctrical work is not done right.

Mr OPELMAN. Thanx for the video, good job man. Im also from SA. New to Opel issues. Got a GSI that I rebuilt the engine on, wasn't running when I got hold of it. I have a idling on cold start issue. When it warms up its ok. Cold nothing, have to keep my foot on the throttle. And also it over fuels and kills the plugs. What could my issue be? Been looking for opel vids like these for months now.
