So currenty following the series as I want to learn MA3. But going to the command section, I can see the buttons, but they don't show any icons like the numbers or for example ''delete''. Pressing them won't do anything. They are just greyed out.

Quick question , what about positions. If I have programmed for 12 fixtures and then add 6 more by copying them these 6 fixtures adopt exact same position as ones I copied them from….. which in regards to symmetrical positions etc does not always work…..

Why that Timecode View function on MA3 now is not logical? It's not possible scroll time line? That crazy delete function, you only know what you gonna delete when you already deleted events. And also Cut function doesn't work, and it's not possible to snap events exactly to frame rate units. That is completely disaster!

Once i have many of unbranded fixtures from china for instance, and i don't afford to have a Robe, Martin, Etc...Those ones that are already in the MA library... How to create it from zero and make it runs into the 3D to programm my show in advance?

QUESTION First off thanks for such a helpful video! I am subscribing. My question is about adding the group to the layout window. In the video you Assigned the group to the layout and you see each individual fixture. When I do it on my end, it just shows the group. Does anyone have an idea of what Im doing wrong? Is it weird to put out my email for help?

In setting up the Views and moving them around and then Centering them. How do you save the view so that when you open the View again you don't have to center the fixtures . They open up already centered.

This video helped me a lot. But as someone how is just starting to use GrandMA on PC, I wish there was much simpler tutorial on assigning controls right at the beginning of this tutorial series, simply because it is such an essential function for anyone finding themselves in front of GrandMa without oportunity to practise in between shows. Had I seen this video right at the beginning of my new job at a cabarret theater, I could have saved myself plenty of headache and last minute hit-and-miss-configurations.

After many years of using Hogs and transitioning to MA consoles 10 years ago, I failed to realize patch method 3 was even possible. Learn something new everyday! Thank You! 7:04

how to search fixture, where were used (in MA2 it was "search") - listref for fixtures isn't working

Hello, so I'm trying to set up the list you give in the video but some of the fixtures are not available. How can I make sure I'm using the same program as you? Everything looks the same except for a few things.

"Select DMX mode to use " window not showing in my laptop, help me i am using MA3 2.0.2.0.

If i store different focus levels from a specific fixture type in a group. It has to be selective (since each value of the moving head is different). So this means a focus preset in my case is selective. If i’m using recipes in a cue. Why can’t i use the selective preset as a recipe? (The name turns red in the recipe window)

Would love a video on the changes to the selection grid!

The annoying part of MVR and gdtf was s that the entire purpose of goal of both these projects was to have all of this just work. And of course to save a LOT of money on library fees. Very poorly planned and executed. The working group should be open
