Furiosa wasn't that great and Fury Road was way better. But it's never too late to fix it and can remake it into an alternate universe. They could make it how the world went to sh!t as a flashback and Mad Max had to go through different wasteland cities like Thunderdome to get to a secret destination, END OF STORY. What I liked about Fury Road was that they had alot of crazy designed cars chases, weird looking people with crazy looking outfits, and add more fight scenes as well. Has to be Rated R for for sure. Furiosa was too dramatic and more talking than action and is why it wasn't great.

If I hadn't heard from a friend that Furiosa wasn't woke I would have given it a miss. Hollywood has pumped out so much garbage in the past several years that at this point I just assume that anything they produce is going to be preachy, politicized and poorly produced, and that goes double for "girl boss" films. Furiosa wasn't particularly good (I'd give it three out of five stars) but it didn't deserve to bomb as hard as it did. Hollywood has really played itself.

I asked my 2 teenage daughters and my wife if they wanted to see this move and all of them said No so i ended up going with a friend and by the looks of the male majority audience the same thing happened with them, i think i consciously registered 2 femals in a very mixed nationality audience 😏

That, along with Covid and the general switch to streaming. Shit, I was about to buy Dune pt 2. Nope, already on MAX. Was about to buy The First Omen. Nope, already on HULU.

George Miller biggest mistake is not casting Tom Hardy as Mad Max

He’ll rebuy when it hits $20. Disney have lost money this year and will likely continue on until the woke stuff has come to an end, which doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. We’ll know when the woke stuff ends 4-5 years from now when their movies aren’t woke.

I thought it would be higher

I went to see it last night......its decent. I don't think it was at the level of Fury Road....it didn't feel as grand. I've been a big fan of Mad Max since the early 80's. I actually think it's the cinema industry that's dead, not the films showing in them. Coivd, wokness and Marvel has put people off from going and now people just don't go anymore. There was 6 people, including me and my daughter in there last night.
