Don't you pronounce it filet( et. a)? Instead of fill-ET?
@thundermistluresКүн бұрын
...actually, you can pronounce it both ways...the "fill-et" is more English than American :)

Do you use a leader fishing for wallet ?
@thundermistluresКүн бұрын
Yes - I always use a fluoro or mono leader when fishing for walleye :) That's actually very important

A tip I brought over from growing Mushrooms...You fill the sink with water ...place your bag of eggs in the water...that forces all the air out...Warning::: Do not place the zip top under the water but have it just above ...seal the bag

Ivo I myself. I like the longer videos and really thank you for taking the time to really show how you set that up with that flexi jig in that schooly minnow. You obviously had a great day today and that bath was off the charts. Thank you again

Longer videos are better, fishing especially isn't suited to be shown in quick chops. Regarding the tip about line bow and hookset, I feel like the tradeoff I always face in those conditions or even in still water with a strong wind is that if I want my line to have less slack, the tension that I have to give it keeps my lures much closer to the surface and not the bottom where some of the fish species I target prefer to hang out, especially in rough winds. Maybe using a heavier lure can mitigate that, but using a lure too big would also deter some of the fish. Am I wrong and as long as I'm just taking away the slack my lure isn't moving much, or is there a better way to handle this?

Yes always be safe wearing a life jacket even if you don't feel like it. It doesn't make you below or in secure. Things can happen so quick on the water.

I ran into some nice jumbo perch myself today on the spoon! Didn't even figure that would work before seeing some of your older videos catching them on the stingnose, so thank you! I've also come up with my own tip similar to your eye trick, I keep the two bright red fins the perch have at the top along with a little bit of meat that they're attached to and put it on my spoons. Really gets the attention of predatory fish like lake trout, walleye, and esox.
