Does it scale with any stat? I think that may be worth a test? I’ve gotten a handful of kills with locust swarm this week, but it something I only use in the right situations when ambushing someone or a team

Do you like using magic staff? Why if not? Usually use it myself, like how it melts pdr specs and give bigger holy strikes. Gotten my smite damage up to 44 with it, two shots pretty much anything.

I love using magic staff but only in melee while using smite, I can’t stand using it to cast spells though.

Magic power and will buff the same damage multiplier. Additional if your running big multiplier, true if you have a smaller multiplier but still using magic setup

Magic damage always best to run, magical power builds are not that great without additional magic damage.

I'm a bit confused on what to focus on rn, when I play smite I usually try to reach a magical power bonus of at least 50% because the curve will just flatten down if u go even higher, after that I build vigor and additional magic damage Would love to get some recommendations from u guys Merry Christmas yall🎄

You're not doing this right.. you need +3 magic damage on your neck and +2 magic damage on each ring, +2 magic damage on cape, and +2 magic damage on helm AND THEN .. you add magical power and then you run magical staff

Finally some bind content! My meme tactic is to get a horde of mobs run after me, run up to another player, use invis potion so mobs aggro the other player and then cast bind so the mobs get to hit him. Its hard to pull off at first and if the other player has alot of movement speed it pretty much never works but its alot of fun when it works :D

The locust swarm nerf was for sure the best and well thought out nerf without a doubt. On a serious note, I believe some of the nerfs were needed but I believe they hit the nerf hammer a little too hard on cleric. The fact that they took away one of each heal as well as made the cast slower and the big heal healing for less on top of that just seems like too much nerf to me. Holy light wasn’t a problem and didn’t need nerfed nor did earthquake. I understand the holy light nerf and all but how come a mid spell that is really only good with end game gear (earthquake) gets nerfed down to 1 spell when 2 was just fine but wizard gets 3 chain lightning’s that can half an entire teams health with 1 use and is the literal best spell in the game. Idk doesn’t make sense to me.

Definitely agree on your take on earthquake that it really didn't need a nerf I'm not minding the healing changes so much I've now just started bringing sanctuary to deal with poke situations then saving my heals for when my longsword fighter is able to push in. Ill be curious what state druid comes into the game in and then see if we get some of the healing nerfs reverted personally i don't mind holy light being reduced to 3 but i wish lesser heal stayed at 4 but overall it still seems fun, tho i was hoping that divine protection would've gotten a buff since it seems so fun to rock on PDR cleric but judgement or smite are just so much better@@Ridio

I believe lesser heal got nerfed for less cleric survivability with being able to heal yourself which I can understand but I don’t get the Holy Light nerfs I hope it gets reverted. I’m just waiting and waiting for druid myself haha can’t wait

I'll admit the class was too good as a support and a damage class. I feel they should have nerfed more of the DPS or Tankiness of cleric rather than the main aspect of the class, the heals. Wizard is still the strongest and most fight winning class in the game from my experience. It Was before cleric nerfs and still is. Class how so much DPS thanks to Magic damage being overtuned and not enough MDR. @@blakedavis4649

i love playing Cleric but 90 sec Cd is just to much, yea i know you get 30% but still other class get almost the same and have like a 20 or 30 sec cd i think they can ez put the timer down. But the content is really great thx so much <3

Hold out your torch when chasing it has better range and no movement penalty Also I know this build isn't for optimal but I will say to anyone trying. Swap out smite for spell casting. Divine smite alone about as good unless you spec into divine smite it's not worth especially for only 2 hits on average

I tried a similar build, but instead of smite I used Divine protection. Pop it when you get jumped or a ranger is preparing their multishot. It's not a skill used often so I don't think people expect a cleric to randomly get 30% physical reduction in the middle of combat. But that with perseverance, you become tankier than a fighter.

I have used protection from evil many times. It is a pretty good skill, especially since like you said, no one is gonna expect it. I very much enjoy using Divine protection myself. Might have to try the build again with it.

I love videos of new builds, I know it’s simple agility build but most people are doing really obvious stuff like full pdr fighter etc. seeing a cleric swing this fast is fucking awesome. Would love to see more of this kind of stat heavy build. Agility barbarian would be pretty sweet.

Yeah I absolutely love experimenting with new and different builds that most others don’t use. My friend @nightshine2173 has used this agility quarterstaff build on barbarian and absolutely rolled lobbies, which gave me the inspiration to try it on cleric. Sadly I only make cleric videos, and only will make videos on cleric. Atleast until druid comes out, then imma be making both.

Players should be able to put gold down for a contract. "Find me agility cleric pants x3" Low level players can accept quest and bring back gear. Teaches them to get out and to read gear attributes and trade

@@Ridio yes. Just like in DnD, they captured the fact that Cleric can be a mage type with powerful spells, a support healer, or a melee powerhouse. Or any mix between. They are super versatile and I'm glad ppl are using the martial side of them.

Just generally recommend at least adventurer boots for a build like this if you don't want straight up lightfoots, you lose like 5 armor over heavy boots for two extra movespeed (the troll rogue's would've been ideal!). I'm not really sure what the quarterstaff offers in general, its damage is lower than both one handed maces and its range doesn't feel any better, with very similar swing speeds. Using just a mace without a shield is 5 faster movespeed, hits harder and pens more armor, or with a buckler is only 2 speed slower but you have another item to get movespeed/agility/all attributes on. Lastly, passed up that rogue's riveted gloves with +2 weapon damage, those would've gone for 100g at least!

I find most of my trios gameplay boring because I play backline healbot cleric. Due to my team comp consisting of barbarian and fighter so I don’t really ever fight. I need to make some more trip vids though for sure.

@@Ridioshould try ranger cleric mage, it’s basically just playing keep away lmao. Ranger and wizard get to spam from a distance and if anyone rushes you earthquake them and bonk em. Obviously you can lose to buffball but honestly if you have enough space to not get insta ran down they just get chipped till they get scared and run or die.
