Its a Please see manual smoke & carbon monoxide alarm

I did not know it could do carbon monoxide (not the sensor)

I received a 2nd genertaion and it looks different and I cannot interconnect between the two. Can so,eone assist please?

I regret seeing this. That new DETECT lineup sucks so bad I wanna rip my eyes out.

I have this one and it just beeps once every other minute idk what to do they came installed already

I installed it on the ceiling and then tried to practice unplugging the quick connect plug. It was so impossible to unplug that I had to undo the wire nuts to disconnect it from the wires coming from the house. With the detector disconnected ftom the wire harness, I still could not unplug the quick connector plug (while pushing down on the small tab). The design of the smoke detector is terrible.

I have a feeling that there is going to be a new version of the SA520 soon with Precision Detection since i put clearance labels at my store. I think the new version is going to be called SM520-AC. I wonder if there is going to be a SM520V-AC. I also want the SM530V-AC.

I am interested in smoke alarms especialy interconnected because in my country we dont have forced any by law in residental buildings it denends on owner decisions to have some. It's forced by law in commercial buildings and from 2008 in new buildings or after rebuild that need approval so smoke alarms are relatively rare thing for us.

Can the CO511 receive smoke signals?

Is it necessary to connect to electricity??? Or will it only work with battery?

I was told by Kidde support that a W won't wirelessly pair with a WS. Do you have any experience with that?

@SmokeAlarm_18 i found a kidde firex combination smoke & co alarm inside a home in greensboro nc during the 3d tour and a brk first alert smoke and co alarm aswell

P3010’s are pretty crappy. This is the only good model.

Generally i don't test them this way because this method can damage the sensors of the alarm.

What alarms are thosez specifically the first one

Went to Home Depot last night and also found Kidde alarms once I entered. We were there to get soil, and I went up to the Kidde alarms and looked at them. I couldn’t find any CUAR’s

A lot has changed in 3 years. The dumbass government in my state (Virginia) made a law that requires 10 year battery operated smoke alarms (basically makes my local smoke alarm asile like yours).

i saw that alarm at lowes!
