Do you need to clean after every grind?

Hello! Nope, not every grind :) For home use it is advisable to clean every 2 weeks and a deeper clean every 2 to 3 months.

Hi there, may I know the grind adjustment preferrable for french press? Thank you!!!
@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters
@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters 12 күн бұрын
Hello! We used grind size 50 for this particular brew but the actual number would really depend on the type of beans and how long it's been rested. A good place to start is the grinds should feel somewhat similar to coarse sugar :) Hope that helps but let us know if you'd like a more detailed calibration video :D

For home use ideally you could do a quick clean every 2 weeks and a deeper clean every 2 - 3 months :) Of course this also depends on the roast level of your beans. If you prefer darker roasted beans then it's advisable to increase the cleaning frequency! Hope that helps! We also have a short video on the theory behind grinder cleaning, linked here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hdBil7111bu6Y2w.html

@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters
@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters 4 ай бұрын
Hey! Unfortunately there's no tricks to it, just elbow grease to "hook" it out haha! Has it been a while since the last change? It might be stuck due to leftover residue, maybe you could try again after a grouphead cleaning session. It shouldn't take too much force, though. So if it's still stubbornly stuck, you could always bring it to us for servicing :) Let us know how it goes!

Depending on the grinder - the burrs may be shimmed. You would want to probably mark the position of the non-moving [top] burr so you put it back in exactly how it came out and be careful when removing it, if you do so, just in case it was shimmed. I wouldn't generally recommend removing the burrs unless you're actually going to be changing them.

Hey there! Yes once temperature achieved we can switch off the machine. The refraining from leaving the silent vibration pump on for more than 2 minutes is a suggested general rule for most silent vibration pump machines! :) Thank you for clarifying!

@@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters thanks for the reply! I guess I might have misunderstood the ‘silent vibration’. Usually when I on the machine, as it warms up, the machine will make a vibration sound (like to a motor running) for a couple of seconds. Is that the silent vibration pump working? :)

Hey! Thank you for letting us know, it is 15 minutes :) As for how often to descale a Lelit Bianca a good benchmark for personal/home use would be yearly but it would depend on usage and the type of water used (whether it's filtered or otherwise!) Thank you!

@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters
@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters 7 ай бұрын
Thank you! Our technicians recommends food-safe lubricant (Haynes Lubri-film on our website!) if there are any squeaky sound/stiffness on the lever, otherwise lubricant wouldn't be necessary :) As for after backflushing, lubricant isn't needed unless gasket is replaced as well! Hope that clears it up :)

on lelit marax e61 group construction doesnot have preinfusion- its easy to check- required engage e61 lever on 1/3 turn (nothing happens), only full engagement activate pump. you are talking about HX advantages brewing coffee and steaming milk at he same time, but demonstration shows opposite, i.e. coffee and milk in row..

True you can do both at the same time which is our preference. If people are starting out, they might not be able to multitask and will make the coffee and steam the milk separately.

Hi, thanks for the video on Nanofoamer. I can’t help but wonder, why you had to transfer the milk from the nanofoamer pro to the milk pitcher and not directly from nanofoamer pro?
@dominicjestinchankingwai4105
@dominicjestinchankingwai4105 11 ай бұрын
Subminimal talked about this and showed a demo. You can pour from the pro but the pitchers spout is just not ideal for detailed latte art so you won’t have much control on detailed designs like swans or rossetas but im guessing you can make hearts or tulips with it. Transfering it just allows you to pour nicer designs with capable pitchers.

Hi, Tks for the excellent vidoe. Do you need to descale espresso machine here in SG? As far as I know, our tap water is soft. What is your experience with other Lelit users, especially Bianca?
@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters

Yes you need to descale your coffee machine. The only instances where home users did not need to descale for a few years and there was little scale was when they religiously purged their boilers every single day. Most people do not have the luxury of time or patience to do this.

Hey there, I have a question. So I was wondering, how many grams of milk did you use? Also for how long should I be using the nanofoamer
@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters
@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters 2 жыл бұрын
Hello, the amount of milk depends on personal preference. We normally fill it up to 1/3 of the milk pitcher we are using, giving the pitcher room for the milk level to rise. The pitcher used in the video is a one-cup pitcher, assuming your coffee is 30-50ml, then your milk would be 120ml-180ml depending on your cup size. As seen in the Nanofoamer Tutorial Video, the milk can froth up very quickly in 20+ seconds but you may choose to froth for longer.

Does it affect foaming if we use a different pitcher (like wider)?
@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters
@CowpressoCoffeeRoasters 3 жыл бұрын
Hello! It depends on how much milk you want to froth which affects the level at which the milk reaches in the pitcher. If you find that the milk is overflowing or the milk level is too low, you need to switch to a larger or smaller pitcher.

Hello Chris! This cocoa powder is fantastic as a mocha and good by itself too! Its a single-origin Ghanaian cocoa powder sweetened with Australian-certified Organic Coconut Blossom Sugar from Bali. 50% Cocoa, 50% Blossom sugar. Not only a more healthy cocoa powder but the flavour from the coconut blossom is slightly toffee like! Cheers, - David :)
