To do the big end bearing on the crank you have to split the cases and split the crank and you have to put the 2 halves of the crank back together which you have to balance so you are better off getting a new crank. If you are doing the crank then cases you may aswell replace the main bearings and seals that go in the cases for your crank. You should only replace the crank if you have up and down play on your connecting rod, you should have no play up and down but some side to side play is fine. Top end rebuild isnt that difficult if you know your base gasket thicknesses, piston size (a,b,c,d etc), ring gap and the torque specs for your cylinder and head. Hope this helps

The piston? If you're talking about the piston then yeah it's still going strong plenty of compression and done about 28 hrs on it now

Yep rebuilt top end and new small end bearing, piston was extremely worn it used to be 53.94 and it was 59.20 when I took it out

Dylan Ivers it’s at a mechanics atm and because was bought from a shop that’s to far away he’s told me to get them to find the issue. He was running 80ml to 5l it was bogging top end so he’s cleaned carb jets and stuff but the noise is like a rattle and knocking noise. He said it might be piston slap because it’s not been changed and not sure on how many hours is been

@@JC-fn6gv I'm lucky because I noticed it was making a rattling noise and put a new top end in and small end bearing so I didnt ruin everything else with it. It's crazy how a £10 part failing can cost you about £600

So basically it has 5 gears and if you go all the way down and it clicks just a tiny bit that means you are in first gear, if you go up half of one gear you get to neutral

So if you shifted from first to second gear that means you have kicked the shift lever up a full click just once. From first gear only shift up half way of what you did when you put it into second gear

DylanIversVlogs don't have a Mac* 28 those engines like over heat abit. And who ever tuned the engine tuned it for up and down the street run. Reason why you hear it lean because when the buggy jumps it runs itself a bit lean. I would richen your low end needle a bit more
