One of the few shows the Pumpkins ever played with Nirvana. As I'm writing this I look above and see that the description already says what I'm currently writing, but fuck it... I'm going to continue. The bands got together on stage to play Twister, and Krist Novoselic got down to his underwear and greased himself with Crisco for the advantage. After the game was finished, he grabbed an American flag randomly from the stage and wiped himself off with it, including an exaggerated wipe of his butt, which infuriated a few Boston townies in the crowd. They had to hide out and get security to escort them out of the club afterwards. Billy and Kurt (who was about to get uber famous in a couple months from this video,) had the Courtney Love connection, and never became friendly unfortunately. Very different people anyways. Okay, I'm rambling now. Later

Wish they would’ve stayed all together and had better friendships. I know it’s hard taking orders from the “leader” and the main song writer all the time. D’arcy will always be dreamy to my 1990’s teenage mind 😢

Billy was always humble. He was pretty much just an asshole to the musicians he didn’t like. But to his fans he was always down-to-earth. He’s one of those people I guess who just hated socializing, except when it came to his fans.

I still remember buying the Gish album that year and thinking it's the best album Of the year. My God, think of all the creativity left to imagine in Billy's ingenious mind! I'm pretty sure they were high on some really good marijuana. She was looking sexy as hell, And acting flirtatious. It's nice to see Her beautiful smile for once. She usually has a poker face.

They were so cool and young back then. But it only lasted a couple of Tours and they were broken. Only very lucky people got to see the original band live like I did. I saw them headline Lollapalooza 1994 and it was great but the earlier club gigs were even better with the Gish material.
