So is there no way possible for a player to play lineman and running back and still be eligible to catch a forward pass outside of changing jersey numbers? I was told they could have a lineman number and still be a running back and catch passes? Also, I'm assuming if the pass is backwards then a running back with a lineman number could catch a lateral pass right?

I’ve coached all ages. Can never go wrong with the way Army Football does it. (Triple option under center). Went to a 2nd grade tackle game today. BOTH teams were in shotgun. I was screaming on the inside! Final score; 0 - 0.

on this pass, the qb often never really controls the ball when getting the snap, shouldn’t it still be a fumble if the motion guy drops it?

Any teams in college or nfl that block power that way. I’d love to watch in action. I saw your game videos in program. I bought that. Great stuff. Great content!

So few people could hear this clip and know exactly what you are talking about, however it is a great scheme and does make things difficult for the oline! Cock those ends and put the offensive tackle in conflict and aet them lose and their leverage and force from the outside itself collapses the c-gap and plus! Love it!!

I am curious on specifics of shifting. Let say you have a twins/doubles formation. Can the #1 (X/Z) if on the LOS before shifting, shift quickly, or does he have to step back slowly and then move?

Make Defense Great Again. All of these coaches are really good. And Coach Vass, off the charts smart. 7 on 7 tourneys are ALWAYS organized by offensive coaches so we defensive guys are skee-rewed...

We got 2 ways of covering it. 1st we man #1 with the corner then play 2 read with the nickel and safety. 2nd way is nickel mans #2 if #3 goes vertical

Formation rule has been changed since this was created. Now the rule states you can’t have more than 4 players in the backfield. Other than that good content for newer officials.

Hello Bro, Your video content is really good and the editing is perfect. But views are much lower. To increase subscribers and views, you need to do channel SEO, meaning your videos are not fully SEO. Your SEO score is very low and has no high-ranking keyword, SEO Score you have to do 90 overs. The main reason why videos go viral is because of video SEO, ranking keywords, and organic promotion. If you do SEO and Promotion then lots of subscribers and views will come to your channel, I can help you if you want. Also, your channel needs some more updates. For now, you can do channel SEO or Video and organic Promotion. Your channel will grow very fast. Because your video content idea is so good 🥰

I run a 3-4 cause my program doesn't get a lot of lineman. I get a ton of skill players, so I have more line backers than lineman. I run it for that reason. We're faster line the lineman reaching out to them

I never defined it by formation, more by plays. Double wing: Super Power, Wedge, Counter. Wing-t: bucksweep, belly, waggle. Flexbone: inside veer, outside veer, midline. Question: what does that corner do if I come out in an I unbalance, with TE, Z, and X away from him, no eligible receivers to his side?

In your opinion, for a new young coach, what specifically do we need to know to be accepted anywhere?

Great stuff from great coaches! A thought on when things break down... I started teaching the QB that if a concept breaks down, we are now running QB draw. The thought is this: If there was no blitz but all my routes are cloudy, then that means a LB or 2 LB's dropped giving up their gap assignment in the run game, tuck it away and find the gap unnaccounted for and run through it.

I’ve stacked coverages over top of each other on the trip side. The SS is further back but his primary focus will be the short behind the trips throw. This confuses the QB because he’s uncertain which defenders are assigned to his receivers

How you doin buddy..I gotta a question that maybe you could help me with. I’m a first yr coach for flag football 13-u(did it for my son). I understand football but I’m not sure how to run an offensive with only 1 maybe 2 weapons,no QB without losing my wide. I know they are young but it’s the bad news bears without the win streak. I was just hoping you could possibly do a quick suggestion scheme. And if you have an opportunity as well, defense, flawed to. I know this isn’t the type of league that you’re talking about but you’re the first video I came across and I like the way you explain things, so if possible cool if not, good luck with everything and have a blessed day

I bought the Homer Smith book a few months ago based off of Joe's comments on it from a previous podcast. I got 40 pages in and thought this thing is boring. Now, I know that feeling is shared by at least one other person.
