sorry your solutions didn’t work for me. IRobot won’t connect and it used to. It’s been to the Asurion repair service and back and still won’t connect. Worst robot vac ever!

Interesting that today it seems to be so difficult to build a product with a wifi connection that works without major intervention and that consumes hours or weeks to solve. We've seen several competitors' vacuum robots and none of them had any issue connecting whatsoever. Not sure what's the problem here and why it can't be fixed.

So my i5+ combo kept dropping connection. I also have a toddler so I had the button lock on. I could not disable the lock and could not connect so I factory reset but with my robot not connected to the network it didn’t actually reset. And now I have no robot on my app and can’t reconnect my robot to the WiFi because my button lock is still enabled apparently. Any tips?

@@erikaanaya8311 oh no ... not sure if taking it off electricity will do the trick? Then it will go off and back on once charged. Not sure. That would be my last resort.

Nope. Did you watch the video? It explains exactly what to do. Just in case pause it where needed. You can also use the transcript to read it as an instruction if you prefer text. My advice would be to just look through the list of videos and check each one if they are public and monetized ON. If monetized is ON on a private or unlisted video then you make it consistent: private/unlisted + monetization OFF, public + monetization ON.

Right? This is already tabled in the pdf with gridlines and everything when i do the same thing it doesn’t even read the tables or just copies the entire page merged with hundreds of rows

I'm not sure what you mean. You do NOT load all the pages. You select ONE table only. It feels you commented on the wrong video, also because this here is reason SLO-MO.

I am not logged into the guest network, I’m logged into the 4 GHz band 2.4, sorry And it’s still isn’t connecting, but it will connect through the Roborock app. How do I make this work? The Roborock app is not accessible to people with vision impairment.

You said to "Switch off" the robot but how do you do that? Unplug from the wall? Disconnect the battery? There isn't an on off switch...😢

on my model it's the big round button on top that says "CLEAN". I need to hold that for a few seconds. Yes, I know, it's a usablity nightmare. In case this video doesn't solve it, there are a few more lon my channel ike for 5G issues and for special characters in the password or Wifi name.

The irobot is very badly designed. Had this error come up twice in the two years I owned the product. Luckily I was covered by the warranty. But it seems like this problem will reoccur every year. My advice is to try an alternate vaccum cleaner than the one roomba offers.

Fixed the error on my i7 Is the motor working too hard to turn the fan blade? I opened up everything to get to the dowel of the fan blade. I tried turning it by hand a bit firm when I did. The dowel which has approximately 3 washers (two are together) on it. After removing all of them, I put 1 drop of oil and graphite powdere onthe dowl where each one of the washers isand where they touch each other or the housing. (especailly important is where the dowel attaches to the plastic housing) After this I put it all back together and turned it again by hand which moved more freely than before. It has been working GREAT ever since. Hope this helps

Hi @IsabellaMaria15 my robot is showing error c610 and c660, nobody at Roomba help center have been able to provide a solution... I've tried EVERYTHING, from rebooting my modem, robot, phone, factory reseting robot, uninstalling the irobot app; you name it, I've done it...😅 So you are my last hope at this point 😢, any ideas???

Hi Nadia, I do feel you. Let's try a checklist approach: - Both your mobile and the iRobot are on the same WiFi (the master WiFi in case you also have a guest network) - neither your WiFi name nor your WiFi password contain non-standard characters (like ê, á, ś, ç etc). If they do, you need to change this. See my separate video on this. - If you have 5G: check the 2.5G (or similar) option and switch to that one (see separate video on this) - make sure your cell phone is on WiFi (and not on its own connection. it needs to be in your home WiFi network - and iRobot needs to be in the very same one) Let's look into further detail in case all of those strike a NOPE.

I have my Guest Network and 5GHz disabled. it has no option but to connect to a 2.4GHZ all on the same network but still fails every single time when establishing a cloud connection

I might try this. But frankly, it's ridiculous in the year 2023 that a company is producing a product with 1) such poor documentation, and 2) with so many connectivity issues. It's 2023, not 1995. I have 30 devices connected to my network - zero issues. And the best I got from their help desk was: "Your internet provider does not work well with our product." Ok then, so I can surf the internet, watch TV, and use Alexa all day long, but the robot can't manage it. Sorry, it's going back if this doesn't work.

Yes! Unplugging the base unit from the outlet for about 15 minutes, then (as I had changed the wifi password, Wifi6, WPA/WPA2, with symbols and a comma in the password) going through product settings, reconnect/change wifi, connecting to same 2.4/5G auto selection wifi network on the router, and the connection was successful in seconds. I truly appreciate this guidance.

Before replacing the cleaning head module, see if the vacuum turbine spins easily (located after filter, must open). A little lube there can also solve the problem. At least for me it did.

That worked. Remove the dust bin and look at the fan that is where the dust bin filter is. Mine was stuck; I used a pen to manually try and spin it. It came free and when then working normally again.
