So I will have to carry at for me 9 o'clock since I'm a lefty. But for me that is very far down the road. still gotta get my first pistol and just train and learn my fundamentals first before I think about carrying on my body.

USE BLUE LOCK, mine I don’t think was put on right by factory bc as soon as I took my mr920p apart spring was completely disassembled from the rest of the rod. I found the screw on the floor in my room after over an hour of looking. Put it back in WITHOUT blue lock and later that day at work (in a server) I was sweeping my tables at the end of the night, and I found the screw ON THE FLOOR AT WORK. I picked it up not even thinking about it and I was like “hey this just like that one screw from my pistol. So I picked it up and now today I’m about to go to range and my blue lock just came in so I went to go blue lock the screws for my sight and guid rod and sure enough the screw was missing on that screw I found on the floor was infact fie my pistol. THANK GOD I not only noticed it but decided to pick up the screw and take it home just in case bc I genuinely was like “no way this is the screw” when I saw it but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to throw it In my pocket. Do not trust the factory to blue lock it for u. Blue lock it ur self. Super frustrating experience but I learned a valuable lesson

When I first used red dots I hated it. However I learned you don't have to wait until the dot stops to get accurate hits. You simply just have to break the shot when the dot paints the Target. Overall I be am much faster with red dots then iron sights

I think iron sights if they are designed for target shooting can be just as accurate but slower

HONESTLY, DID YOU CHOOSE 6-40 SCREWS FOR RED DOT BECAUSE THATS WHAT SIG SAUER USES? Because they are the only ones I know that use that so wouldn’t they be know as using the strongest and you followed suit? Honestly curious Trevor if you would recommend this as a first gun to a new shooter. I've held slimmer profile guns and with smaller hands they just feel better. I've held an mr920 and it felt great, Just imagining this one to feel even more comfortable. But I understand that it's about a half inch shorter barrel so it'll be snappier.

No sight alignment is a preference, not an advantage. I disagree that a dot is more accurate, but they are certainly no less accurate either. Also, no one ever pulls up irons with a major discrepancy in sight alignment, because you are aligning as the weapon comes up into sight. I've seen many a dot shooting competitor draw and be in the dead zone where their grip is off and the dot is completely out of sight. The one place you are correct is that the dot is easier, and that is the entire reason for their popularity. Why actually learn to sight when you can go the lazy route. I've never had any issues going back and forth, irons to dot to irons, so I don't get that one.

I am on my 2nd MR920P , they have a defective trigger issue that could result on a major failure. I have over 3 Shadow Systems, not a single problem with them but the MR920P is defective and Shadow systems doesn't reply back with a solution.
