Here Testing Ollama + Chroma DB + Langflow, and i got my first RAG chatbot so easy. Wish that future updates makes langflow more powerful, but keeping testers informed about those updates, unlike flowise 😁

I followed through this but keep getting the error - "There was an error saving the API Key, please try again. Fernet key must be 32 url-safe base64-encoded bytes. " I am using Huggingface spaces for langflow.

So I need to know python and run this on my dev box ? Not true low no code as can’t get non coders to create anything? I want a fully featured Amur logic app or aws equiv environment. This seems like an aid to doing dev work. I fail to see how it fits into my organisation, appears more like a hackathon idea for individual developers doing bedroom projects ? Please correct me?

its not that its not working anymore the issue is its never clearly communicated that the version shown in this video is a prerelease alpha version. i does not really align (components wise) with the older version.... its a pain ngl

I'm running the docker_example image from the github repo but I'm seeing different default components in your toolbox when building your flow. Is the version I have outdated? Are you using the pre-release? Specifically, I don't have the Inputs and Outputs categories. I'm just trying to make sure that I have the most up to date version running. Thanks

To the bottom left of a flow, look for the installed langflow version. You probably see v0.6.x. Change the docker image in your Dockerfile to a later image like langflowai/langflow:1.0-alpha or more specifically like langflowai/langflow:1.0.0a33.

@@_xabbat_ you're correct that I'm seeing the 0.6 version at the bottom of the langflow GUI. I'm confused because the langflow version specified in the docker file is specified as "latest". I'm trying to fix some other errors in order to get the prerelease 1.0 working. Do i need to rebuild the docker images somehow? I thought they were being referenced from DockerHub. I'm still trying to learn how the building and updating works

⁠@@JusticeEmu “latest” refers to the latest stable build, which is v0.6. After the major version bump from 0.6 - 1, v1 is still in pre-release, so the “latest” tag still refers to 0.6. Edit: Change the image to a v1.x, and rebuild the container. You might have to specify the OS architecture for your langflow service. I use a Mac M1 and had to set platform to linux/amd64 to get it to work.

@@_xabbat_ I figured it out, thank you for the help. It turns out that the pre-release version docker compose file had an error in it. I did a git pull and saw the file was modified. It looks like the project maintainer made a fix like two days ago for the permission error I was seeing when trying to run the image.
