Sadly I never went, I spent the 70s at the Adam & Eve in Blackpool which was also iconic in its own way. What strikes me about Wigan Casino is how many men danced which is so great to see.. amazing footwork!

I grew up in St Helens the next town to Wigan Me mam used to go to casino and I remember in early 70's I was 6 and me mam would leave us with me dad's sister and she would go to the all nighter, I'd beg her to show me how to dance and we used to dance in the kitchen on the tiled floor in our socks with the superlatives and the originals blasting the council house roof off, I'm still listening to northern soul now, I'm 49 soon as this corona virus is beat back to the Kings Hall and the tower for me

These are ALL such monster classics that I would've thought ANY northern soul fan/collector (not just me) worth their salt would have no problem naming all the tracks on this - and indeed all the labels and (where appropriate) cover up titles.
