Shame about the buttons but like so many others said (and I agree with), picking out some really unique buttons to replace them is a great option! I also just wanted to thank you for posting your videos. I'm "new" to Mori Kei (loved it for many years but never wore any) and have decided to finally start diving headfirst into this wonderful world. I make my own clothes, so it was really quite overwhelming when I actually started to design and make my own Mori Kei style. I think another pretty option for the brown blouse would be to finde some complete different or even embellished buttions (e.g. in black or dark brown) and then alternating the old and new buttons (e.g old, new, old , new) at the front. To make it look intentional.

I love all of the pieces you show in this video! And I feel sorry for the issue with the button-less blouse :( They should've checked their product twice before they shipped. I also wonder if tailor shops can take care of letting out the sleeves. Because that pastel blue blouse really does seem lovely and is to my liking. And Oh, dear. that pants! honestly, at first, I didn't really think it looked that good on its own. But once you matched that with other pieces, my eyes got widened! :) So cute and moricore ! <3

Hi Miwako! I think those things are really cool. The first cream top is so cute and it looks really cool! The second top is chocolate colored and doesn't have buttons. I'd suggest you find some buttons that match the shape and color of the top and sew them on with some fabric or floss. I think buttons should match the top's color. If I have button problems on my clothes, I usually use wooden buttons (like coconut buttons). Wooden buttons work well everywhere.😊😊😊🌺🌼🌸 The blue top fits your eyes, and I think it's not hard to change, I also have a problem with flashlight sleeves, just like you. Then I do this: I cut off the sleeve and make a wedge of lace on it. Then it looks cute, and the sleeves don't put pressure on your hands. But if this is difficult to do, then such a top can really be sold. By the way, I also sew lace to the V-neck top, where the chest is. And it seems that there is something below)🥰😊 I don't know, my advice might be useless, but thanks for the video! And those shorts are so cool! They're the right color to go with everything!

Everything is so gosh darn cute. I know that Michael's and Joanne's carry buttons similar to the brown top. And the blue top you could cut the elastic, but I understand the worry though. I am in LOVE with the tanktop and shorts! They would look so cute with tights.

I think my sister used to own the same skirt you got from Old Navy in the haul, and if I remember correctly, it was sold wrinkled. Wrinkled skirts were a thing for a while. My sister owned tons of long floral ones in that style. If I remember correctly, after you wash them, you twist them up and let them dry twisted to keep the wrinkles. I think your blue cardigan you are unsure of would look cute with a loose floral top under it.

All but the headband are keepers, they look good on you. You might be able to loosen up the cardigan a bit if you wash it with softener and pull it while wet. It looks cute, just a little heavy.

I think it looks great on you. You know how to pull off those layered looks. I don't remember all your shoes right now, but these look really cute, I'd keep them. And the elastic band can then be sewn or replaced with a strap if it is very large. (on my shoes with an elastic band, I came with neatly knitted lace and they began to look cute + the elastic band began to stretch less.)😊

I understand your sensory issue with the elastic sleeves, I have the same problem. I think you can probably get away with wearing that pink shirt for short amounts of time, especially because it looks so comfortable otherwise

As somebody new to style and fashion in general, this was very informative. I can see your point about the replicas and fabric quality too. As somebody who's both clumsy and active-ish at times, I'd prefer sturdier material that has practical aspects - clothing I can -do- things in, like my normal housework, mom stuff, and even just relaxing and enjoying hobbies.

The pieces were all very cute on you and I think you could add a realy cute flower brooch on the top of the pink tunic to close it up. Especially if layering pieces have a bigger neckline, then the brooch can peek out.

Very cute haul!💖 I have many tank tops that I just wear as under shirts with pretty much all my dresses and a lot of my blouses that might be too low or sheer. Super nice to have in the summer but also good for extra layer of warmth in the winter. A lot of them have lace around the neckline so a little lace peeks out.

Great video! I feel like the replica conversation doesnt happen a lot in the mori community. But its hard to avoid them now because, like you said, a lot of the og brands are dead or moved on to new styles, so its hard to find new mori specific clothing. Most of whats out there is trying to recreate the looks of the brands that mori folk love. Its an interesting phenomenon and i wonder if it happens in other more niche jfashion as well

The close look really cute on you. My personal favorite is probably the last dress and pants combo, but the pink top with the embroiderer is still very cute. If you are uncomfortable with the sleeves of the pink top, I feel like you could just remove the elastic with a seam ripper. The top will definitely still look cute with more loose sleeves.

Item 1: Seems very comfy and cute! Like you said, adding some other pieces to it to complete an outfit would work real well. My DnD-playing brain sees it as a great comfy outfit for an alchemist chilling after a day collecting ingredients. Pockets a huge bonus. Item 2: Very cute! Though I can see why the sleeves might be a bit uncomfy. I know on a muscly sort like me, they'd prolly break lol. Item 3: Following the trend, cute and comfy looking!
