I almost bought this light while back , got a L21b coming

These are great powerful flashlights for thier compact size. I have one and I love it but I connected the magnetic charger to the fan backwards and now the fan doesnt work. It operates very nicely without the fan sleve. As a matter of fact it is easier to hold since it is a smaller diameter. Thanks for the great review. I think it is about 85% of a ms 12 mini.

do you feel that the weight is acceptable for wearing for long periods? i want this light very much but am apprehensive about it being too heavy to be comfortable. if i removed the top strap from the headband do you feel that it would be too unstable to walk around with?

What about a 230 volt , 1200watt hair dryer - will it work for the 10 minutes or so required to dry and STYLE a ladies hair . Will the ECO flow cut out due to heavy current drain ?.

Great flashlight! But having said that : for the price and the weight I would suggest to try the Acebeam K75. I just got it and it is saweet. Much lighter and almost same throw distance but with a cleaner beam! And in my eyes for about $300 the K75 has a far better price/quality/weight. If the price of the A1 would be in the 500 euro range, well then I would consider buying ;)

K30-GT is one of my favorite light. I own also an K75 that is a monster thrower but the K30-GT is more portable and last longer the battery.

It would be nice if all you reviewers used actual distances with numbers with them for an objective review. Just shining a light at some unknown distance doesn’t mean much.

How much watts was this hairdryer?

Good lamp, I froze mine in the video for 14 hours at -18 degrees Frozen. With Red firefly. Still working after 14 hours. Very good. Watch my video

just subbed your channel... really dig these latest reviews of yours as i'm in a market for an ultra powerful, remotely controlled, tripod mountable, portable light... primarily for portable/improvised, non-lethal home security/defense solution options... wuben a1 was at the top of my list, actually the only such light on my list, but i'd really also like something that could be mounted semi-permanently indoors/outdoors as well, much like this scangrip light, one of a higher quality that's rugged and dependable... as i've mentioned already, i knew of wuben a1 which is probably the only uberpowerful flashlight currently available with a remote control but i wasn't aware of this scangrip light... two very different light designs, one portable the other mainly stationary, but both have a common cross over area for their use and both interest me... wish that in your relatively short 2 reviews of it you would include its performance outdoors, in pitch black night conditions with varying size/surrounding environmental scenarios and make it a more in-depth review of it... and with regard to its manufacturer - that it would also have a dedicated separate remote control, not just a smartphone app remote option, in case of no wi-fi coverage... it's difficult to find a quality, dependable superpowerful light with a remote that's very reliable and putting out the stated power because googling for such typically returns the search with hundreds of cheaply made lights with grossly overstated power specs and the really good ones are hard to seek out from such a barrage of search results... i'm not even sure if this scangrip is one of the higher end such lights because it does have a very noticeable flicker so its electronics/design is not of top notch quality but it still seems as if it's of a better quality than the myriad of 'search lights' [also classified as spotlights, boat lights, boat searchlights, etc but which have abysmal actual performance/output that's easily trumped by any of the recent flashlights by acebeam, nitecore, olight, etc] advertised via google searches on typical amazon, walmart, bass pro, et alia, vendors' websites... apart from the a1, the only other portable superpowerful light that imo could well fill a double duty as an improvised home/security light is the acebeam x75 because it has a tripod mount socket and is truly awesome as far as its power output, very powerful useful strobe option and practically useful sustained lumen/candela specs...an addition of a remote would greatly enhance its potential for that type of a purpose and would probably then replace the a1 on my short list... ms18 imo comes up way short in the comparison because it get much hotter very quickly, is quite loud with the fa on and its turbo output is extremely brief with a lower subsequent sustained output than the x75... there's a wide open, huge niche for many more such lights to be designed and made at present time... please find and review more of any such superpowerful search/spot/flood lights with optional remote controlling option that actually live up to the stated specs and are quality made... even if i'll soon purchase the a1 and something more suited to stationary mounting, the technology is always rapidly changing so i might be seeking out such a light again within a 2-3 year timeframe...there are numerous decent flashlight review yt channels out there but i think i've seen a review of the a1 on only one of them and it mentioned its remote control... so even when searching youtube's dedicated flashlight channels which specifically cater to super powerful lights, for a great, quality, remotely controlled portable light with potential for home security/self defense use and potential alternative to lethal means, it's nearly impossible to find solid trustworthy in-depth reviews on such a specific niche of lights; or at least ones which could be ALSO used for that purpose apart from their intended use as just powerful flashlights... id est, lights with remote control options, tripod mountable and with a useful powerful throw/flood beam, strobe, etc... i think by concentrating on such lights, at least in part of your reviews, you could find your own unique niche among the scores of other very similar flashlight review channels... cheers...
