I think the multi chambers and the thick pvc bottoms will make inflatables way more viable for regions with oysters and rugged bottom, but for general sandbar/beach areas and waters where theres fewer puncture hazards they are a super light option everyone should check out.

I don’t blame your skepticism. The point is the system is lighter, easier to mount, and has more features especially ones that are related kayaks. The new AutoBoat smart head system has multiple remote options, anchor jog without the need for a separate sensor, and an app that has way more features than the other brands. Mine is supposed to arrive on Monday. With the tax, mine came to $291.18 because I ordered a refurbished S2 Pro. I've talked to my wife about her trying it out after I get it and hope that she would want one. But first, I'll have to see if I like it. If that's the case, I'd buy one for her.

Not sure on xi3 due to footprint and weight. However AutoBoat systems are easier to mount, and lighter. Lots of mount options to do an AutoBoat gps motor system. It is when it is foam filled. Even if you cut it up with chainsaw it still will float. Could literally put a fist size hole in bottom and it still will work and float you. Water weighs about 62lbs per cubic foot. You aren’t getting that much inside the hull with foam being in there. However even if you did you would still have about 288lbs of useable weight capacity.
