Love the thin rubber coating on the lip. I have a discontinued pair of Mizuno Monarcidas that have the same thing, it's quite effective at protecting k-leather on AG.

Glad to see a boot reviewer cover Athleta. Bought my O Rei turf shoes in Taiwan back in 2020, still playing in them. I can easily vouch for Athleta’s build quality. I wish the big brands wouldn’t turn away from K-leather, it’s truly the best material for football boots. I just used this colour for the first time (AG version) and oh my are they fire🔥 I also have the red colour for FG and they’re also unbelievable. I went 1 size down on both pairs and they fit perfectly. I do like a tight boot but I have wide feet also. I’ll likely never not have mizuno boots now. So light, agile, great lockdown, and obviously an unbelievable aesthetic
