"In the Sand", a song of a fleeting romantic encounter, by Kashmir, Denmark's vastly under appreciated answer to Radiohead (from the 2003 album "Zitilites"). kzfaq.info/get/bejne/geCXjbl2uZfTpIU.html Lyrics: Sometimes the girl is here With her indigo eyes And her brand new gear She won't stay for long And she has to walk straight home Patience, time comes, she says Kiss me but don't you tell This is over as soon as this fire burns through She's on the ocean He's in the sand She's stuck in motion He is sliding gently off her hand Springtime and turmoil She pours white wine And gets herself lost She falls over And disappears into the meadows Wayward and highstrung She is lovesick and ever so strong Then it's over like none of it ever was real She's on the ocean He's in the sand She's stuck in motion He slides so gently off her hand

Walking bones Choose your own direction Go have fun some place else Bring your soul And your Beach Boys records I can't stand to have you here So worn out Cold and dehydrated The fortune's spent And dad's in space Every home should have a mom in love And a daddy in space Chinese porcelain cats to guard her love In the window space Show her some respect she's all worn down For years to come I will not forget you As my son, as my pain Time will heal What now feels so wounded Tears are spilled And the holes will fill Every home should have a mom in love And a daddy in space Chinese porcelain cats to guard her love In the window space Show her some respect she's all worn down Show her some respect she's all worn down Show her some respect she's all worn down Every home should have a mom in love And a daddy in space Chinese porcelain cats to guard her love In the window space

lyrics miss you so much boy Will we be coming on again Don't ever loose your ropes This man is hanging by the ends I owe you so much time Yes you might say it isn't like that at all But now it's coming back to you These open moments that I blew Rocket brothers crack and burst If they can't meet upon the verge Of breaking into seperate parts That was not written in our cards Now you got someone to protect Someone you cannot reject I miss you so much boy But I was buried in the mines I found it hard to stop You found me very hard to find But now that you've made way I'd better tie together these ropes again And throw the times right back to you And all the chances that I blew Rocket brothers crack and burst If they can't meet upon the verge Of breaking into seperate parts That was not written in our cards Those rocket brothers on the verge We should be careful 'cause it could burst And we're not lonely anymore Lonely as we were before And now there is someone to protect Someone you cannot reject Something I will not neglect No...

A list of things that should be said Now weighs a forest on your tongue And all your virtues safely kept In vaseline have slipped bygone [Chorus] Put it on the vast choir sings Let the Broncos run wild again Wipe it off that purgatory grin Because it's all too convincing

@@birdzzzondayflu2489 Eistrups lyrics are just incredible, especially on this album. The amount of paths I have taken in my mind thinking about most of the songs and their meaning to me is priceless. For me Dring is a theme of being stuck in dependence in some kind of relationship, but with a strong wish for independence, and the struggle breaking free and enduring the pain of that. Which makes me think of my own relationships with my parents but also girlfriends, and now as a dad with the tables turned on me ;) Im sure my kids have had (and have) times where they wish they could have *pulled a loaded gun from their belt and blow it in my mouth*, of course metaphorically speaking. I want to respect their wish for independence and search for their own identity. That's some of the things I get out of it, and the beauty of it is that it may not necessarily mean the exact thing for someone else because their experiences are their own and not the same as mine. In general the dark melancholy, the sadness and the rawness of Cruzential, both lyrics and the music, which is brilliantly in sync, hits me in the heart for sure, and it's a major reason why I love the album so much. Im really appreciative of Kashmir, for Eistrups wonderful poetry and the incredibly nice tunes and the brilliant performances. It's a masterpiece in my opinion.

I used to be way more focused on the introspective Cruzential songs - to illustrate an amusing counterpoint to your interpretation: Dring for me I just see a baby blue fender Stratocaster in the sky with clouds (I think it’s the same blue sky as Beamed)

#Paradigmenwechsel #Mondovisione #BetterWorld #Future #ChildrenOfTheEarth #BessereWelt #Zukunft
