what is the point ? like a lot of other videos it only has the intention to show the ride on the bike, the view of the feelings you have sitting on this monsterbike ! just to enjoy !

héhé salut toi !!! bien les bonjours !! eh oui, mais ici malheureusement nous n'avons pas de belles randonnées avec des fosses et des bosses importantes comme dans les Ardennes ... il faudrait que j'aie une remorque pour rouler avec la voiture jusque dans les Ardennes et puis se lâcher en buggy .... mais j'ai déjà eu des flaques de boue très importantes et de l'eau de 30 cm de profondeur, ensuite revenant à la maison moi dans le bain de suite et les vêtements à la machine ( et le lendemain le karcher pour le buggy bien sûr ! ) !! que du bonheur, comme le trail en moto !! il faut bientôt que je change mes pneus, je suis à 4600 km et ils sont usés .... ;-) ;-)

mais c'est juste dommage que le son n'est pas du tout conforme à la réalité car le bruit des échappements est profond et sourdement exaltant ... avec des pops afterburn qu'on n'entend même pas ..... d'autres videos de Rocket ont le même genre de bruit que chez moi, ça donne pas du tout la bonne impression !!

@@georgeR3Roadster Je voulais faire une virée avec un club au moins une fois puis j'ai fais la virée du Val Joly cet été. Sympa mais sans plus. Il faut sans cesse faire attention aux comportements de certains fous. Je préfère rouler à 3.4 motos tranquillement et s'arrêter boire une bonne bière en Belgique : matedsous, Dinant, Givet, Chimay etc...

@@georgeR3Roadster Moi, c'est plutôt kwack, Chimay bleue, Ciney blonde, whisky Mais un verre sinon, il y a de fortes chances, lors d'un démarrage trop impulsif sur sa poignée d'accélérateur, de voir sa roue arrière dépasser la roue avant et tomber cul par terre sans rien comprendre. Ça m'est arrivé une fois avec ma première moto. J'ai du avoir trop de force dans la main droite...... Ou le deuxième apéritif a m'a trahi... I think in usa lots of roads suck the same ! infrastructures up there are also very "old" ! but yes, in Belgium lots of roads are VERY bad and dangerous for bikers ! that is the reason we had very much actions (see some of my videos) where we went out with a thousand bikes each time to require better roads ! so much accidents with bikes on bad roads, it can not continue this way ! keep safe !

hello you, yes those LED lights are very awesome and powerfull but I got them in the shop where I did buy the bike so I do not know where the man got them. I am sure you can find the same kind of lights on internet and they are very easy to install, they fit just between the radiator and the crashbar and are fixed on one of the sidebolts of the radiator. I think it did cost some 240 € if I remember well. Awesome bike anyway, best bike in the world !! ;-) ;-) I will look into my papers and if I find some more information I will put it here.

hey Todd, there are 2 switches on that accessory, one for the heated handlebar grips ( up = low or down = high temp ) and one for the 2 LED superlights that I did mount on each side of the radiatior.

hello, it is Belgium, from Nivelles to Waterloo near Brussels ... do you find it dismal ? well it is just out of wintertime ( you can still see the snow on the roadside ) so not very much green nature around ... ;-)

bonjour ! désolé je ne viens pas souvent voir ici ... pour un débutant non c'est vraiment pas une moto à acquérir ! il faut une bonne expérience pour une telle moto avec tant de puissance et de gabarit, il faut avoir quelques bonnes notions de conduite ! moi-même j'ai roulé énormément en moto de mes 18 à mes 25 ans puis j'ai arrêté parce que j'ai continué à rouler en voiture. J'avais une BMW R60 à la fin. J'ai toujours voulu racheter une moto mais bon le mariage, les enfants etc ... vous comprenez hein .... alors en 2012 je me suis quand même décidé, j'avais 64 ans et j'ai pris la plus belle, la plus puissante, la plus accomplie des motos ! eh oui, il n'y a rien de mieux ! vraiment ! et tout de suite j'ai retrouvé les reflexes moto et les attitudes d'antan, juste j'ai dû m'adapter au poids et au gabarit mais cela n'était pas compliqué, vite appris ! Ben depuis lors eh ben je n'ai plus la moto car en 2015 une bonne femme en voiture et chipotant à son GPS ne s'est pas arrêtée à un STOP et hop fini la belle vie, le beau monstre .... oui car une pièce du moteur s'est cassé et donc perte totale. Moi même heureusement juste quelques bleus. Ma femme qui n'était déjà pas très enthousiaste au début a refusé que je rachète une autre moto, et voilà stop cette super belle aventure moto ... shit ! .... j'ai racheté un buggy CFmoto Tracker 800 ... Voilà, 3 années de super bonheur et 30.000 km. en supermaxformidable moto !!

threepot I always have the 100 km with 8 or 9 liters 95 octane .... but all accelerations are so crazy therefor I am sure you can have it at 7/100 when easy going in speeding up. ;-)

Listen Erik, you seem to be a experienced biker but what do you really want for now ? the biggest and most fantastic bike in the world ? 2300 cc / 148 HP and 220 Nm ... something as big and beautifull as the R3Roadster .... or maybe a very fantastic Storm .... or the new Thunderbird LT ??? I always did dream of a big bike and was dreaming about Harley Road King or BossHoss .... but this R3R is the best of all, really easy driving, cool and big stable, great power and torque, very good brakes ... I still would buy the same after 2 years ... me 75 kg and 1m75 - 65 years old and driving with this machine is waw incredible pleasure !! just keep in mind it is heavy - 360 kg. and driving at very slow speed is just a bit attention needed .... Keep us informed !!

the sitting on the R3R is different than on the Storm ... on the Storm you have the feet more in front of the bike .. on the R3R sitting is more natural : feet under the knees. georgeR3Roadster Yeah, I sat on both and the R3 felt like a perfect sit. I didn't really like the ergonomics of the Storm as much...didn't feel uncomfortable..just not as comfortable...and the R3 actually felt lighter to the R3 for me personally..

georgeR3Roadster One last thing, at my local dealership the R3 is priced lower than the Storm by 500$..just bc they can't move them. I love everything about the R3, I just like the Storm alot...my only reservation is the torque and around town handling

Erik ,at 6.2 ,this bike is made for you. Im that height and have been riding an R3 for over 4 yearsand never get sick of it. Obviously coming from a 675 street R you will have a lot of adjusting to do but you may find the R3 a much more versatile bike if you like long rides. At least twice a month I get out and do 400-500klms in a day sometimes much more. The torque is intoxicating but its not the kind of bike you would use as a commuter in heavy traffic.Its more an open road and doesnt really like doing under 80kph.Maybe because mine has been remapped for mid range performance. But its fine if you have to go on the freeway everyday.

Hello, I always stay in first gear when I have to stop for trafic lights or whatever else ... so I can move forward directly for whatever reason ( also security !) and that is very important ... also in first gear when I stop the engine and park the bike so it can not move ! the changing of the gears is easy ok but with a big "clongk" always !! it's a big engine, a big machine and a brute one also !! but it is difficult to change from 2 to 1 when standing still not driving !!!

in the beginning for me with this monsterbike lol it was very difficult to find the neutral yes, but that has been fixed and now it happens sometimes but as I said I do not put it often in neutral.

gear changes is ok !!! big klong and bonk ... sometimes difficult to change from 2 to 1 when standing still !! only then .... otherwise is ok. Would like a monsterbike with S-Tronic or DSG
