Brother, I thank you for undertaking this task. I have been, and will be, listening to most all of your videos (audios?). I tell you this because I'm anticipating growing weary of thinking of new and fresh comments to place beneath your videos. God has led me to your channel, and exposed me to the man, who I knew in name only. I am grateful to get to hear the words he spoke. They are some of what I have longed to hear, all my thirty-five-year reborn life. I just knew somebody, somewhere, preached and/or preaches what I've known in my heart and read in His word to be true. May God richly bless you endeavoring to share The Gospel in this way. ❤

The rustling of leaves at the top of the trees makes me think of the 3rd chapter of Johns' Gospel when Jesus informs Nicodemus of the way the Holy Spirit does His work.

29:42 "You are not a true Christian unless your soul is full of living desires." This is such fodder for the enemy to make us doubt God's promise, that he will hold us fast (even we we feel dry toward God). We can not always have our desires at 100% Godly, so when we feel lackluster and spiritually flat, are we not still true Christians. I've listened to so much Spurgeon and McArthur, and I think I know now why I have suffered so much with waves of doubt and fear. I was not trusting God to follow through with his promise to save all those who believe on him for the salvation of their souls, the way Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.

Come on now, he didn’t say you will always have 100% desires for God but what he is hinting at is that a true Christian will have longings and desires for God, it may not be all the time but you will certainly yearn for it. Remember you have now been transformed and the life you used to live you no longer want to live, keep trusting in God and He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus.

@@lilacDaisy111 totally understand, it’s a daily battle we face to keep the faith but remember Jesus prayer for us in John 17, no one or anything can snatch us out of His hand, we are safe and secure in Him, live in joy of the knowledge of this.

I swear i have to bear with such accustatory preachers who not only were incorrect in calvanist doctrine, but deny the fact that salvation is a free gift. This “sermon” is an accusation from someone who believed in false doctrine, calling out others who believe in false doctrine. Sad
@jakeschwartz251413 күн бұрын
Of course the calvanist believes himself better than the church members written in Revelation… because they believe they were destined to be made right with God when in truth we all have the free will to choose to believe in Christ who the Father sent to atone for us as a free gift.. or we reject that
