I liked the iron. Helps remove wrinkles, and adds a touch of homieness!

If you call it a circular saw a cutter machine and a square a scale you shouldn’t be using either

It could be something inside the machine rubbing against the blade
@MODERNSOMETHING1M-nt8dgКүн бұрын
Thank you for the suggestion! I hadn't considered internal components rubbing against the blade. I'll inspect the machine thoroughly to see if there are any parts that might be causing friction or uneven pressure on one side of the blade. Your input is much appreciated!

Is the wood going through straight? Is the burned part on the side of your guide?
@MODERNSOMETHING1M-nt8dgКүн бұрын
That's a good point! I'll check to ensure the wood is being fed through straight and see if the burned part is on the side of the guide. Misalignment during feeding could definitely cause uneven wear and heating. Thanks for the insight!

Hi I wouldn't make a big surrounding hole. But would try to just a small hole surrounding the nail. And try to go under the nail using a chisel and the hammer to leverage up the nail. Then, use your nail grip. Or the opposite side of the hammer, the claw/peen to bring it out. Can always use wood putty or titebond to help fill in. And smooth out. Thank you
@MODERNSOMETHING1M-nt8dg5 күн бұрын
To remove the nail without creating a large surrounding hole, start by making a small hole around the nail. Use a chisel and hammer to get underneath the nail, leveraging it up carefully. Once you've lifted it slightly, use a nail grip or the claw side of the hammer to fully extract the nail.

Running that pilot drill all the way in is amateur… it’s smoking when withdrawn because there’s nowhere for the chips to go. Drill bits won’t last long when abused that way!

He’s hitting the rails with something before he irons them. I think it’s wax but I’ve had wax be sticky more often than slippery.

Also paraffin wax. Ironing will help until any moisture gets to it, then the grain will become raised again.
