To me, her will always be a Piston (although he spent more time with the Kings, I think). Along with Big Ben, 'Sheed, Mr. Big Shot, Rip, Tayshawn, Dunkin Darvin, the Turkish Tornado, the BIG NASTY and the rest of the 'Goin to Work' Crew was instrumental in upsetting Indiana, and the L.A. Lakers Super Team en route to the 2004 NBA World Championship. I will never forget his time in the D!

So a good chunk of the game is missing from a little under the 4 minute mark of the first half all the way to 12:50 left in the second half due to the TV going into tornado coverage. Honestly, they didn't miss much from this fairly forgettable game from a very forgettable season, but it's nice to hear Paul Eells again.

This team will be lucky to win 5 games and if they some how get to 6, it’ll be a huge success!! Easy for Green to look good against an Arkansas defense. His numbers against MountainWest competition weren’t great and the SEC is on a completely different level! Every year this team is overhyped and overrated and they continue to disappoint!!

I always thought that Bobby Joe Edmonds was a little bit "underrated" as a Razorback. He was exciting with the ball in his hands.

I feel like most of these runs show just how good the quarterbacks were at running the triple option. They got absolutely destroyed on some of those pitches.

I remember it well. Win this one and we’re in the Cotton Bowl in Hatfield’s first season. Probably would’ve been a statue of him at entrance of RS. We had neighbors over at the house that didn’t have ESPN for a watch party.

That FG was CLEARLY good and Kevin Murray threw his helmet at the end of the game like a spoiled punk.
@scottarivett4969 күн бұрын
Yes the FG by Trainor was good. SWC officials gave us a lot of those over the years. The Calcagni face mask no call that spun his helmet over in the ‘77 Texas game would’ve probably secured an undefeated season and a NC shot in the Cotton Bowl. The ‘69 shootout had two horrendous ones that were both on long scoring plays.

Hey Warmachine do you have the complete game for this Arkansas vs Rice? I was a freshman living in Houston and went to this game and I remember the Razorback mascot running up behind and hitting the Rice Owl mascot knocking him to the ground and knocking off the head of the Rice Owl mascot and then turning and running back to where the band was seated in the stadium behind the Razorbacks bench and jumping up the wall where some Razorback band members helped pull him up into the stadium seats because the Rice mascot was pissed off mad and chasing him wanting to beat his(Razorback mascot) butt after getting blindsided from behind by the Razorbacks mascot. I think it was either the fourth quarter of the game but maybe the third quarter when it happened and I wanted to see if the full game video would show it happening. It was really wild to see it happen and just crazy that the Razorback mascot even did it but I was born and raised in Fort Smith Arkansas only moving to Houston for high school so I thought it was the coolest thing. Looking back I see now that it was really a dick move by our Razorback mascot especially after jumping into the band after he did it for protection. Anyway I was just looking for the complete video of the entire football game so I could watch for that mascot on mascot attack.

SHOULD have won the Nat'l Championship the season 1977-78 season, when they finished 11-1, beating Oklahoma 31-6 in the Orange Bowl. Holtz's first (3) seasons at Arkansas, the Hogs went 11-1 & went to the Orange Bowl, 9-2-1 & went to the Fiesta Bowl, and 10-2 and went to the Sugar Bowl.
